-Chapter 5 : Drowning in depths and feeling guilty-

Jungkook's P.O.V:

I followed the pixie and soon i was in front of beautiful strawberry garden, it was really prepossessing that for a second i forgot that why i was here in the first place. i came back to my senses and my eyes started searching for a familiar person amidst of the strawberry vines.

I found daesung-ssi at the corner of the garden , i advanced towards him and i don't know how he noticed me but he greeted me without even turning towards me .

"hello my dear"

"hello daesung-ssi, i need your help with something" i greeted him back not befor bowing down.

"i knew you will be coming to me sooner or later" he chuckled.

i was confused as how did he know that i am going to come, before i could ask him he understood my confusion and spoke again-"you are here for lily right" with a soft smile.

i nodded hastily as i wanted to help poor little pixie.

"dont worry much jungkook as it was bound to happen" he paused and pointed me to come over a large circular table that was in the center of the garden, i complied to what he said and made my way to sit on one of the chairs.

if you ask me i was confused on more than one points but i pushed all of my doubts away as he again started to speak.

"i know you are not familiar with this world and its functioning so listen carefully what i am going to say next- you see pixies are one of the magical creatures of Eternia but to retain their magic they need equivalent amount of mana too and since you lack mana lily is weak."

he paused again and took lily from my hands and i saw just as lily was in his hands her face was becoming less paler by every going second. i somewhat understood what he meant to say but i stayed silent as a sign for him to continue.

"mana is very important for pixies as it helps them to rejuvenate, its like food for them and for pixies like lily more strong mana is required as she is one of the strongest pixies" he finished while giving me some time to understand.

"but you said i dont  have any mana then how can i take care of her, she will be weak if she stays too much around me, i think you should take her back" i finished with sadness evident in my voice as i already started liking her.

"but i dont think she wants to stay away from you" he said as he gestured over to my shoulder.

i followed his gaze and noticed that lily was sitting there looking way better than this morning.

"and if you are concerned about her then ask Taehyung, he has enough mana to take care of both his and your pixie"

"his pixie?? Taehyung has a pixie but i didn't see them with him and no, he will never help me nor my pixie rather he will kill me" i was confused as i never saw his pixie around him, also i know that he is an asshole so nah he won't help me as i shivered at the end of my statement.

"Jungkook dont worry much just try and about that, there is a lot more that you dont know about him but you have to find it yourself" he said with a reassuring smile but his eyes showed a glint of sadness when he referred to taehyung. i dont know why but something in me told me that i need to know about him more, but i shrugged that thought for a while as i was feeling really hungry at the moment as i hadn't eaten anything since last night.

"umm Daesung-ssi c-can i eat som-" i was interrupted when he pushed a basket full of glistening fresh strawberries in front me.
