-Chapter 18 : Getting pulled but pushing away-

Author's P.O.V:

After spending nearly his whole day inside their room, Jungkook decided to finally venture outside and he low-key wanted to find Taehyung too, he was feeling so lonely in that room and he hadn't seen Taehyung since morning.

Thinking about what Taehyung said earlier this morning didn't made any sense to him until he tried to put himself in Taehyung's shoes, just because he aced the ceremonial matches doesn't mean he had aced his heart, he earned this achievement but not his trust... 

He can't expect Taehyung to open his arms and accept him just because he proved that he is not weak as they say, he needs to show Taehyung that he can trust him, that the love that he has started to grow for the older is pure, without any harmful intentions....

"It changes nothing, makes no difference" 

Yeah, Jungkook accepts that these words did leave silver head's mouth but his eyes held uncertainty and hesitation... though his voice was firm...it seemed like Taehyung is the one loosing the battle between his heart and mind. 

This statement shows that Taehyung is still unsure, of course why wouldn't he be, he never had someone like Jungkook who was willing to break his defences with do ease and that terrifies him...he is afraid for more than one reasons...

Jungkook knows what he did till now for the older wasn't enough, but he is not denying the fact that his efforts were all in vain.

Jungkook now just have to break his shell, have to make real Kim Taehyung come out of his cold and arrogant persona but he is adamant that he will do it, he will make Taehyung feel loved again...

Jungkook was lost in his myriads of thoughts, probably daydreaming about himself and Taehyung cuddling that he didn't notice someone standing right in front of him and as a result he rammed into a hard but firm chest.

"Oh! I am so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going and-" Jungkook started rambling nervously as he looked down at his shoes, too scared to meet other person's eyes but his eyes betrayed him, his cheeks too maybe when he realised who he ran into...It was the man of his dreams, no exaggeration intended.

"It's okay" Taehyung cut Jungkook midway through his rambling and noticed the beautiful blush adorning the younger's cheeks as much he wanted to just turn away and leave, he couldn't his eyes were fixed on the boy who was looking anywhere but him, the scene from today's morning playing in front of his eyes...He had admitted earlier and he is not afraid to admit it now too, Jungkook is indeed beautiful, ethereal but the younger doesn't need to know about his thoughts...

"I have to go" keeping his responses quite short and sharp Taehyung decided to announce his leave but before he could even turn away a voice stopped him.

"Don't go!"- Jungkook said hurriedly as he didn't want Taehyung to go away just now, it was too soon for his liking.
