No Means No Chapter 8

May and the warriors track the rest of the hunters and hand them over to the government.  She has put extra guards around the pack land anyway.  The pups have been told they have to go around in groups of 5 at least.  

I have found the last couple of days interesting following her around and watching how she interacts with the different pack members.  I passed my driving test so now can drive.  Orion has told me to meet him as he has my birthday present at his Mum's.  I walk through the tree's to the small road that his Mum lives on.  

Before I can knock on the door Orion pulls it open.  Looking very nervous "hi, Happy Birthday" he says

"Thanks, but why do you look so nervous?" I ask 

"Well I thought it was a good idea at the time, but my Mum said you might feel burdened from it?" he wrings his fingers together.  

I put my hand on top of his "if it's from you I'm going to love" I reassure him.  

He gives my a wobbly smile and then pulls me into the house and the connecting door to the garage.  He opens the door and pulls me through.  I look from him to the garage and there next to his is another Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in dark grey.  

"Holly shit, you bought me a car?" I shout as I run to it and look through the window.

"Ri, you bought me a car, a really. Fucking. Hot. Sexy. Car. The. Same. Colour. As. Your. Eyes. When. I. Take. You. Shit. I'm Hard?" I run back to him and pick him up and hug him tightly to me.  Peppering his face with kisses. 

I hear his Mum chuckle and turn around with Ri still in my arms. 

"I'm glad you like it.  I made him worry and for that I'm sorry but, could have done with out hearing about the colour of my sons eyes when he's all randy though" she shakes her head then smiles and leaves us.  

Ri takes my face in between his  hands and kisses me.  We are both a little breathless when we pull apart.  

"You can put me down now" he says 

"Oh, yeah I forgot" I say putting him back on his feet. 

"I can't believe you bought me a car" I say he shakes the the keys at me. 

"Want to take it for a spin, it's insured for the two of us to drive it" he tells me.  

I take the keys "this is great, because I need to pick up your present.  Come on" I tell him.  

I back out the garage and then drive towards the main road.  It takes about 40 minutes to get from the pack lands to the main road.  It's Saturday and there is more traffic than usual but once we get on the freeway.  I put my foot down a little more and just enjoy the ride.  I keep smiling over at Ri.

"This is the best present thank you.  I just hope you don't think I was a little stingy when I give you my present" I say.  

"Like you, I will love whatever it is, because its from you" he assures me.  

I pull into a small strip mall.  "Come on" I tell him we get out the car and I take his hand and walk to the jewellery shop I found on line.  

I walk in and the woman practically purrs when she see's us walk in until she spots us holding hands.  I turn and wink at Ri and he smiles.  

"I put an order in under Phoenix" I tell her and her eyes light up again.  

"Yes they are already for you" she goes behind a small wall and we hear her opening the safe. 

Before she comes back with three boxes.  I move the bigger box to the side.  She opens the two smaller ones they are white gold and on them I have had engraved our mark on them and a R and P inside the entwined rings.  Ri's ring has a diamond at the foot of the R.  

"Phoe they are beautiful" I turn and see tears glistening in his eyes.  

I take his ring and place it on his ring finger.  

"I want everyone to know that you are mine" I tell him.  

He takes mine and puts it on my finger "let's show them what love is" he says.  

I kiss him and then remember where we are and pull back.  Ri makes me laugh as he growls and try's to kiss me again.  

"Thank you, I guessed the size but it fits him well" I tell the clerk 

"I'll just wrap up the other item will the two ring boxes be alright in the same bag?" she asks I nod and she puts them all in a fancy little bag with tissue on the top.

"Thank you for your custom please use us again" she says as she hands me the bag.  

I go to leave when I think of something "can I order some commissioned pieces?" I ask 

"Yes we have our own designers and goldsmith" she replies 

"Can I have a paper and a pencil?" she gives me paper and a pencil.  I sketch what I have in mind.  It is a silhouette of my Mum holding my hand on one side of her and my brothers on the other walking along a forest path in between the tree's is the head of a wolf looking on protecting them.  I draw an arrow at the head of the wolf as I don't want the designer to miss this out.  

"Can I have this engraved on a gold locket about this big" I draw an oval the size I want.  

"Then can I have another locket with just one child and mother.  Then three gold army tags two with this design on it and one with the one child and mother on it" I instruct.  

She has gone to a cabinet and takes out a tray.  I look at the lockets and see one that is just right.

"Two of these please.  Can the back be inscribed 'gone but never forgotten'.  

Then on the back of the dog tags a J on one of the two kids and another with P.  The one with one kid an O please.  She writes down the instructions and I read them and then sign for them.

"I will leave it to you to pick out the chains but they should all be strong.  Please email the cost and I will send the deposit to you" I say.  

We leave the shop and Ri jumps into my arms "this is beautiful and what you're getting made is wonderful our Mum's will cry" he predicts. 

I swing him around and then kiss him "I'm glad you like it" I tell him as I put him down and we get back in the car.  

"Want to grab something to eat?" I ask 

"Yeah! Let's go to Olive garden I fancy steak" Ri answers.  

We have a good lunch when my phone goes and I see it's Daisy calling.

I answer the phone "Where the hell are you?" she yells down the phone.

"Get your butt back here now" she yells before ending the call.  

Ri laughs "she will be waiting to wish you happy birthday." 

I laugh as we pay the bill "she will be pissed because she can't have any cake till I blow out the candles" I tell him.  

"There's cake, come on then" he says taking my hand and dragging me towards the car.  

"Wow you like cake, that much?" I wonder.  

"No, I like singing happy birthday and watching the candles being blown out" he says.  I chuckle as I drive towards home.
