SOME GIRLS JUST couldn't take a fucking hint. I ran my hand through my hair, shaking my head at the Persian girl who was offering me a drink for the umpteenth time.
Most girls here seemed to think that accepting a drink was a universal sign that it was okay to commence a make-out session. Like hey, usually I'd be up to it, yet my discussion with Nanna was still floating about in my head.
Maybe it was time I started figuring out what happened that day.
I diverted my attention into thanking God for freeing me from the clutches of the blue eyes harpy.
It began in the taxi at 8.01 with little touches on my chest and leg.
At 8.06 that had progressed to twirling her hair whilst playing with the buttons on my shirt over the cab music.
By 8.15, the witch had somehow managed to magically undo three of my buttons with her voodoo powers whilst we entered Talisa's place.
Lexi was trying to slide her hands under my shirt by 9, despite my numerous hints telling her to stop.
At approximately 9.38, she was attempting to shove her tongue down my throat, and sit on my lap causing me to really regret going to her place yesterday. She clearly hadn't heard of a one night stand.
And at 10.13, right now, I was rescued.
Talisa asked to pull Lexi away from me for a moment, leading her to the side and shooting me a sympathetic look over her shoulder. "Sure, go for it!" I said, enthusiastically. "Go have a drink and wander for as long as you like!"
Would it be harsh if I said I was silently praying that she wouldn't return? Because I was.
On the contrary, it turned out that the other girls had taken Lexi's departure as a signal to close in on the poor, innocent, hopelessly attractive prey.
Me.
I'd been approached countless times by numerous people in the past hour.
"You're Gabriel, right?"
"You can call me Candy if you want-"
"Just in case you wanted to know, I'm not a virgin."
"I'm Natalia Churchill and-"
"Wanna get out of here?"
"Damn, you really are fine-"
Hands, claws, were all over me and as soon as I turned my head away from one B-class Kardashian, another was immediately present on my right. There was no escape.
"Hey, babe. There are no more seats, can I sit on your face?" My eyes locked onto the beachy blonde behind me who was batting her unnatural fake black eyelashes at me.
I let out a little high-pitched scream of shock in her face.
I tried to disguise it as a cough although I'd be lying if I said it was believable. Standing up straight, I gently pushed them to the side and made my way away as quickly as I could.
Fuck, this was worse than a horror movie. Who knew rich girls had an appetite larger than most?
My eyes landed on the blue eyes harpy and I found myself rushing towards her. Comparatively, Lexi seemed like a really good option right now.
"Hey, I'm back. Where are you guys going anyway?" I asked, sliding in between Talisa and Lexi.
Talisa fiddled with the neck of the champagne flute in her hand, "Uh, nowhere. Just having a wander." She was interrupted by Lexi, who leant over me so she could squeeze Talisa's shoulder.
