After Damon got everything set up I gave him his reward as promised, which was also a reward for me the only problem was that now I had to take another shower and change into actual clothes. I was left alone by Damon when he went to a council meeting that had been called last minute, but it wasn't for long since within half an hour he was back and explaining about how the tomb vampires had stole from the blood bank. When Katherine explained everything she had told me all about the tomb vampires, I knew they were violent and that after decades in a tomb they would be holding a grudge. After everything I'd been through not many things frightened me, unless they were frogs but that was a whole different story, however a group of unhinged vampires that were out for my families blood did strike a cord with me.

"Hey we took most of them out and I won't let any of them come near you" He placed a kiss on my forehead for extra reassurance making me to smile softly. "That's sweet but I don't need protection." I lied through my teeth to him, blushing at the look of disbelief on his face. The moment was cut of by the door bell ringing making us both turn in the direction of the door, Damon let out a sigh and mumbled something under his breath that I couldn't hear. When he opened the door I saw a young girl who couldn't be that much older then my own brother Jeremy, I stared at her with a curious gaze.

"I suppose I should be grateful you used the doorbell this time" Just by the tone of Damon's voice I could tell that he had some sort of history with this girl and it wasn't a good one. However, the girls eyes were filled with slight sympathy and also guilt as Damon walked in and her following behind.

"I'm here on behalf of my mother" She said to Damon's back as he made his way back over to me, I turned to the table behind me and poured two glasses of bourbon. I passed one over to Damon once he was close enough to me, which earned me a thankful nod.

"On behalf of or in spite of" He mocked his tone held venom in it as he turned back towards the girl, but sticking close to me which let me know that this girl was some what dangerous. When I turned my attention back to the girl she was staring at me with a curious look on her face, I could tell that she was trying to figure out who I was and what role I played in this.

"Who's this?" She asked and gestured towards me with her hand eyeing me curiously.

"This is Kris, Kris this is Anna" Damon stated bluntly, but was quick to change the subject. "What do you want?" Anna spent some time staring at me still unsure until she dropped the subject and moved onto answering his question.

"I'm sorry about what the other vampires did to Stefan," Anna let out a sigh before continuing."Abducting him, torturing him it wasn't supposed to go down like that" Her voice was dripping with sympathy and I could tell that her apology was genuine, but I couldn't see Damon accepting it anytime soon.

"You were playing house with half of a tomb of really pissed off vampires," Damon paused. "what did you think was going to happen?" He questioned, yeah he definitely wasn't forgiving Anna for what happened.

"My Mother is devastated they tried to over throw her" Anna explained to Damon.

"Why isn't she here telling me this?" Damon asked his voice held a mocking tone to it, at this point I started to zone out realising that I had no place in this conversation. Taking a pack of cigarette and a lighter out of my pocket I placed it in my mouth lit it and took a long drag. Anna and Damon started to argue backwards and forwards about the events that had taken place, I could hear Damon's voice getting louder the more pissed off he got. However, what caught my attention was when Anna revealed they hadn't been to the blood bank, which left both me and Damon confused.

"You don't think..." I asked Damon causing him to turn towards me his face held concern and confusion. Anna left swiftly after the revelation leaving us both confused and worried about the possibility of what could happen we both realised that Stefan being on human blood was bad news for all of us. Me and Damon ended up shifting to the dining room where we tried to come up with a plan, we heard the noise of the door opening and closing along with footsteps heading down the hall. If Damon was planning to confront Stefan I knew things were going to get messy.
