^Nora's 1st outfit^ Five
Following the arrival of Matthew's letter, Nora had written back to say that she would like to see him since they had been sending letters back and forth since he had gotten better while in her care before heading back to his own hometown as he had wanted to keep in touch with her due to the bond they had created while she was looking after him and today was the day he was meant to arrive. Nora wore a white collared dress with a wildflower pattern on it along with her usual pair of brown laced up boots, she had braided the first part of her hair before placing the rest of it up into a low bun. Nora put on the large oversized grey coat that once belonged to Tommy although it still smelled of him in a way that still gave her comfort as she walked down the streets of the Small Heath, soon she was pulled pit of her thoughts when she realised there was a commotion of sorts happening just ahead of her as she recognised that Danny Owen was involved having another one of his episodes causing her to race ahead to help him
" hey we're closed. What are you doing! Go home, crazy man, go home" the man of ran a local ice cream shop said to Danny as he watched confused as everything in his mind distorted into the war
" it's okay, I've got it from here. Hey Danny, it's Nora... you're not in the war anymore, you're back home in Birmingham... ahh" Nora said as Danny listened to her for a moment before knocking her to the side causing her to hit her head off a nearby table
" are you okay, Miss? You look at what you've done now, crazy man! Just leave alre-... ahhh!" The man said checking on Nora before yelling at Danny as Danny's episode got worse as he stabbed the man
" Nora... oh no, what did I do? What did I do?" Danny said looking down at the blood on his hands before recognising Nora who was slowly getting up as he wondered how bad things had gotten this time
" it's okay, Danny. I've got this, just go home and wash the blood away and don't leave until either me or Tommy come get you" Nora said trying to calm down and reassure him as he came down from his episode
" thank you, Nora... I'm sorry, so sorry" Danny said before running back home as Nora turned around to deal with the man that was currently bleeding out in front of her as she kneeled down to help him
" hel..help me please " the man said as Nora grabbed the man's apron from where it was loosely placed around his waist as she pressed it against his stab wound to try and stop the bleeding
" it's okay, it's okay... I just ummm need to stop the bleeding, just hold on" Nora said as she tried to force everything that had just happened out of her head as she focused on the dying man in front of her
" I'm sorry, Miss but he's already gone. You did everything you could" a man said stepping in causing her to look down to see that the man had lost too much blood causing him to bleed out and die
" we'll take it from here" a man said with a faint Italian accent making Nora realise that this man must have some kind of ties to the Italians around Birmingham making the whole situation a little bit worse
