^Nora's outfit ^ Seven
The morning after the fire, where the residents of Small Heath burned their pictures of the King as a way of biting back at the police for the recent raids that they had carried out as well as the violent attacks that the policemen had performed on the men and women who supposedly resisted including Nora who had a run in with the new inspector who seemed to have it in for the Peaky Blinders in his attempt to clean up the streets of Birmingham as well as look for the stolen guns since he believed that Tommy Shelby was behind it, seemed to prove that the day would interesting one for Nora as she woke to find Tommy laying on the floor below her since she was sleeping in his bed due to the state of her house. Nora retreated to the bathroom after gathering her clothes and makeup things as she changed into a black short sleeved shirt dress with white spots and a dark beige floral pattern as well as pair of black tights and her usual pair of brown lace up boots, she also decided to pile her dark hair up high into a slightly messy bun with strands of her hair falling down framing her face. Once she was ready she headed back into the bedroom to find that Tommy had already woken up and left causing her to head downstairs in the hopes of finding some tea and something quick for breakfast before she was due at the Garrison, when she went into the kitchen she found Pol sitting at the kitchen table with a teacup in hand as she read the newspaper
" so I seem our Tommy run out here in a hurry this morning? That wouldn't have anything to do with you, would it?" Polly said looking at Nora as she poured her a cup of tea as she down next to her
" of course I do, I mean don't I always? He tells me that he's happy to see me in his room again and then spends the night on the floor" Nora said showing that she was a little over this back and forth
" really? I thought forcing you to sleep in the same room would make him realise what he was missing but not such much, huh" Pol said wondering what she was going to do in order to fix these two again
" not really... it's like he's fighting himself in whether he wants me or not and I'm just waiting around to see which side of him wins" Nora said knowing she was getting a little bored of waiting for him to decide
" he'll realise that he can't live without you and come back to you, I know he will. You just have to keep having hope, love" Pol said as she leaned forwards and gently touched her hand to comfort her
" I really hope you're right, Pol. Who would have thought that Polly Shelby was such a hopeless romantic?" Nora said thinking about the reputation that Polly Shelby had around the streets of Birmingham
" just don't go telling everyone... oh look who it is, good of you to join us. Where have you been all day?" Pol said as Ada came into the kitchen joining them as she sat down next to Nora and grabbed a slice of toast
" In bed... I couldn't sleep then I couldn't wake up then I was cold and then I had to go for a wee the I was with this bear on a boat but that was a dream then I was hungry" Ada said putting jam on her toast
