Missing but found

When I finally wake up, its morning. I feel like I slept for twelve hours straight.Liam's side of the bed is cold and I presume he woke up pretty earlier. I take a shower and change into one of Liam's shirt  which reaches close to my knees. It has his cologne and I can't help but sniff at it.  There is a pretty much commotion outside so I take Liam's phone with me. . I'm surprised to see Dee so I  rush to her and give her a tight hug.
"How have you been Dee, I thought you we're to come yesterday. "

"I was, but then something came up. But I'm here right now. "

Its only then that I noticed there we're some more people in the room. They all looked worried and anxious. 

"What's happening here? "
Dee motions for me to sit and I take a seat beside Sanders.

"So, yesterday, Liam left to go meet some business people... Alone.. And now, he hasn't contacted anyone neither has anyone seen him. "I notice the way she stresses on the alone part.

"What? But where did he go to?  Which business people? I don't understand. . "

Sanders is the one who speaks now. "Well, you remember the people who attacked him back at his penthouse? "

"Well, I didn't see them but yes... I know, some people attacked him. "

"Well, I wouldn't say attacked him considering the fact that he beat all the five guys to a pulp. "William says with a smirk.

"Well... That's besides the point William. The fact is that he went to meet the men alone. Their gang is one of the worst, we called his phone but it was switched off. We tried to track his phone but we find that the device is here. "I notice too the way he says 'alone'its as if its something terrible.

"Wait Sanders, he gave me his phone yesterday. "

"Well then its going to be impossible to find him. "

I begin to panic. How dumb could Liam be that he decides to go all alone on a mission that looks impossible. When did he even leave! Oh God, I hate myself for being such a heavy sleeper. If I was half awake, I know I would have tried convincing him not to go alone. I thought the men were after me, why would Liam take the trouble of going to them for me. I thought he wanted nothing to do with me. The door opens and Larry walks in. His hair is a mess, he has no shirt and I can't help but drool at his abs.There is a gun on his hand and his eyes are wide opened as if he just killed someone. Well... I wouldn't be surprised if he did considering the fact that he's into the mafia world too.

"Guys, our security has been breached. The Reens somehow  managed to hack into it after most of our men went after Liam. We need to grab our tools. Its going to be pretty messy  here. "

The guys shoot up and I watch as they pick random guns from a wall and load them. Dee and Sanders walk to the main door while four other men take cover.

I'm still shocked and rooted to the floor when Larry rushes to me and takes me to Liam's room. He shoves a gun on my hand and cups my shoulders.

"I know Liam will never forgive me for this but I have to go. You need to shoot anyone that's in green. They are the Reens. Don't let them point their gun at you. Shoot them before they get to you. Am I clear?  "

"But I can't even hold a gun properly... How I'm I.. "

"Listen Chloe, we are short of our men. I can't stay here with you. Just do this for Liam's sake. Shoot anyone whose in Green. Are we clear? "His jaw is tensed and his eyes are bloodshot and sweat is dropping on his forehead.

"But... "Are we clear Chloe. "With a hesitated nod, I watch him close the  door and immediately I hear his footsteps down the stairs.

I load my gun and move to the door waiting for it to open anytime.
"You can do this Chloe. You don't want to be dead. Its simple shoot anyone in green. Anyone in green. Anyone in... "

The door opens and from the  hinges I watch two people dressed in green walk in. I wait till they are in front of me before aiming my gun. My hands are shaking and I just hope I don't miss my target. I shoot the first man right through his skull and watch as the other one turns quickly to me but before he aims his gun at me, I shoot his wrist and he drops his gun. I aim my gun to his head and shoot between his eyes without even thinking twice and I watch as  his plump body falls to the floor.

I start debating whether to just close the door and wait for what's to come or walk out. I mean if  someone from the Reens walked in I may not be lucky this time. I hop over the two bodies and rush out of the door.

I walk slowly down the stairs aiming my gun before me. I stop when I hear two husk voices. One I'm sure is Larry's, but the  other one I can't clearly tell. I reduce my pace until I'm at the foot of the staircase.

"You guys should just give me the girl and there won't be a problem. "The man speaks.

"Of course you know that's not going to happen. Liam will get to you before you even move an inch with her. "The guy scratches the back of his head frustatedly and I take this time to survey my surrounding. Both Dee and Sanders are also cornered but the men's back are turned to me so they cant see me.

Larry spares me a glance and winks at me. Eeew, who does that at this point when their lives are hanging on a cliff.

"Well, I guess Larry I'm just going to kill you and have my way with the girl. "He aims the gun at him and I hold my breath. Larry tilts his head at me and  it doesn't take a minute before I get it now. Its just like in the movies, he wants me to shoot the guy. That's why he winked at me earlier. Stupid,  stupid Chloe. I couldn't help but face palm  myself. I aim the gun at the man and before he shoots at Larry, I draw the last two bullets of my gun through his back, right where I think his heart is.. Immediately, Larry turns and shoots at the guy who  held Dee while Dee shoots the other who had Sanders. Its a magical show and if not for the  fact that its a pretty serious situation we are handling, I could have given them thumbs up.

Then it all dawns on me. In just less than ten minutes, I had killed three people. Dee rushes to me and as soon as she hugs me, I  drop the gun  in my hands. A feeling of filth fills me and I feel like detesting myself.

"Are you okay Chloe, did they hurt you? "She's still checking on me when the door opens and a group of guys walk in... With Liam. Dee rushes of to William first which is kind of strange. But I don't take interest in that now. What catches my attention is the guy whose walking quickly to my side.
He walks to me till we are clothes apart. He wraps his hands to my waist and brings me to his hard chest.

I'm still shocked by today's events but I don't miss him sniffing my neck. "Thank God you are fine. "I wrap my arms around him tighter around his shoulder blades because I know if I let go he'll  disappear again. 
Tears are stinging and I don't bother holding them back.

"I killed three people today Liam. Three.. "I don't even finish before I choke on my own words.

"Ssh, its ok, I'm here now. "

"Please don't leave. "

"I'm not leaving anytime soon. I'll never leave you again. "I push his body closer to mine and drink up his words.
