My Two Gang Leaders

Chapter 29

"Hey, Chloe wake up. "

"Five more minutes please. "

Liam chuckles and I couldn't agree less that it was the best sound I've ever heard. Infact, his voice was my favorite sound.

"Well, that means I'll have to tell Jack  and Jade to wait for you for five more minutes. What a pity because... "Before he even finishes I'm already up.

"What, Jade and Jack are here? "

"Yep, and they want to see you. "

I spring out of bed and rush downstairs, and indeed, the twri are already there.. Quiet.

I immediately note that something is a miss. The two are  never quiet. Infact, they are always on each other's neck, bickering and fighting.

"I missed you two so much. "I hug both of them at the same time and I feel bad for not checking up on them over the  past few days. What type of cousin am I?

We pull out and its then  that I notice that they have scratches on their hands and face.

"What happened to you two? Don't tell me this happened at the  tracks while you were  racing. "

"There is something we want to tell you but we don't know how you'll take it. "

Its at that moment that my heart just dropped. I knew something was up, but I didn't know it would be anything this serious.

"What's it about? "

"Its about Zoe and Lucas. "

"What? He took her again? "

"No, its Zoe who went to him . She wanted her baby back. We tried to stop her. Heck, we even promised we would get the  baby for her but she couldn't listen, she was hell bent on doing it for herself all in the  name of sweet  revenge. "Jade adds.

"Ok, and where is she now? "I could feel panic rising up  my gut.

"That's the problem. She hasn't returned yet. We tried going after her but we we're easily outnumbered by Lucas'  men. So we came here, because we know Liam can help us. He has more men and who are stronger than Lucas '"

Ooh goodness. Can't we just stay for a whole week without drama?

"I'll be more than happy to help. "Liam's voice pulls me out of my trance.

"That's good because we need to get her out of there as soon as possible before Lucas does anything to her. That's if he hasn't done anything worse as of now. "Jack comments

"I told you to stop thinking like that. Lucas is only going to use her as bait. I know him pretty well. But why hasn't your dad tried to reach out to Zoe through his own men? We know pretty much that his men are capable of this task. Besides she's his daughter at that. "Jade says

"Well, they are actually not on speaking terms right now. We all left the house after Zoe found out everything. Besides. How did you guys come to know of this? "I ask.

"Can we just try finding her first. We can always have this chit chat later. "I notice how Jack says this nervously.

"I'll just get Dee and Oliver so we can talk about all these. "I'm almost on my feet when the sound of gunshots pierce the  silence in the room. One minute I'm standing and the  next I'm laying on the floor with a sharp pain on my shoulder and then all I see next is just blood. On my shoulders... On the floor.. On the shirt... Just everywhere.

Jade and Jack are on their feet shooting at the direction that the bullet popped out from. Wait, so they have guns too?

I hear foot steps behind me and next I'm in Liam's arms. I watch as he bandages my arm and at the  same time ordering everyone to get out of the house through the back door.
