I'm here currently facing a frustrated Lucas. Both my hands and feet are chained to a pole in his basement. I get a sense of déja vu from being here several days ago.

I have a busted lip that was given to me by Marie. Yeah, I finally got to meet the Reens woman and boy, she's a fighter.

Initially, the plan was to hand me over as bait to Lucas. But when Lucas and Marie began to rain heavy slaps and kicks, Liam couldn't just take it and he tried to fight them  off which was a pretty bad move.

Lucas' men quickly caught him and upto now, I have no idea where they  took him.

Marie thinks I know about my dad's gang and ever since she got hold of me. That's the  only thing that she wants to drive out of my mouth. I think she even broke my rib in the process.

"So  you won't tell us about the  deal your father has? "She grabs my ponytail making my head to tug behind.

"I don't know what you are talking about Marie. I only came to know about what he does recently. "

She punches my right cheek and I think I'm going to lose a tooth.

"Don't use that with me because I'm only going yo hurt you more. Now tell me. What plans is your dad, Mr Waters making with the Italian gang and don't you lie to me because I'm going to... "

"Marie, I think she's telling the truth. Considering the fact that she's already beat up, I don't think she could continue to lie to  us. Besides. We are asking the wrong person. Chloe knows nothing about all this. Infact, she isn't even on talking terms with her parents. I don't think she's lying. "Lucas comes to my defense.

"But.. Aargh. "Marie groans in frustration.

"All these can not go to waste. I couldn't have possibly gone to exile for me to possibly come to all these. Listen Lucas. I have to  get hold of his company's documents. You know with that, I'm going to be the next don. Every gang is going to bow at my feet. With the  company's asset  comes success, fame and power. We can't afford to lose that right now. Do you understand me. "

"I get it ok? But its obvious this isn't the right way to go about this. Zoe is the one who has plenty of information for us right now. We are actually interrogating the  wrong waters. "Lucas shouts.

I think from this shouting spree I'm actually going to become deaf. I'm actually feeling nauseated and tired. I wonder if Liam is ok. I know Lucas won't hesitate before he drives a bullet through his head. He has practically waited for this moment all his life. I haven't set my eyes on Zoe ever since we set foot here. But from what Lucas just said, I'm sure she's somewhere safe. As of Jade and Jack, I hope nothing of harm come to them.

Dee is also my number one priority right now and God knows I want nothing to happen to her, or Kate or even Oliver. Infact practically everyone I care about is here.

I'm brought to reality with a punch.

"I'm talking to you bi*tch. "I'm sure I hate this wannabe don.

"I told you to stop hitting her. "I'm taken by surprise when Lucas catches her and gives her a hot slap. Marie is definitely caught by surprise as she tumbles. In less than a flash, she pulls out her gun and without thinking twice, she points it at her and the next thing I hear is shots being fired. I shut my eyes as I hear a body slumping to the floor.

When I next open my eyes, I expect to see Lucas clinging on to his heart but I'm shocked when I see Marie's lifeless body. She's definitely dead.

I turn to Lucas and he's as surprised as me. We both turn simultaneously to the  door and I'm shocked to  see Noah's deadly glare.

"What, she  definitely had it coming. She was going go kill us anyway. "

Lucas looks back at Marie and I don't miss the look of sadness and hurt. I'm sure he loved her. He squats next to her body and feels her pulse.

"She's dead. Do you know what this means? It means that the  whole of the Reens will be on us for killing their ringleader. This is a war that has just been declared. "He  let's go of Marie's arm and walks out, either in frustration or anxiety, I can't tell.

"I don't know what's wrong with him. I just helped him sort this Marie issue and he's all of a sudden so into her. Does he know he could be dead by now? "Noah walks to  me and helps me unchain. My hands and legs feel numb from all the  hanging.

"I think he's just concerned with what's going to happen from now. I mean, we all know this is a war. "

"Yeah, but he's been like  a brother to me. I know he's heartless and sometimes ruthless, but he helped me out when  no one could. And I'll owe him that till my last breath. "

I didnt know a person like  Noah could habour all these feelings for someone like Lucas. Someone who only cares about himself. Someone who doesn't even care if others get hurt in the process, as long as he gets what he wants. But I guess everyone is actually loved somehow.

He helps me to my feet and up the staircase. I know I look like  a mess from all the  beatings I've received and its like  I was just pulled out of a horror movie. For some reason, I'm glad, Marie is dead. That way, we are only left with Lucas as a threat.

We are walking past what I had earlier on learnt was  Lucas' office when I hear her voice. Its full of anger, hatred and pain.

"Yes, and I'm going to crash you until there is no more of you. People like you don't deserve mercy. You deserve torture and pain and everything painful the world has to offer. "

"Please Zoe, don't do this. "Lucas begs. The door is ajar and I'm not surprised to see Zoe holding onto a gun.

He shoots his foot and I watch as blood gushes out of it. "This is for the sleepless nights you caused me. For the pain of a mother losing a child. For the pain of a daughter being disowned by her parents. For the  adoration that I once saw in my sister disappearing from her innocent face. She watched me turn into a heartless b**ch. And I hate myself for that. I lost Oliver because of all this. He was the love of my life. The father of my child... "At that same moment, I watch as Kate comes from behind a secret pathway in Lucas' office. She has the  gun that Liam had earlier on given to her.

"Kate? "I can see disbelief in Lucas' eyes. I guess he never imagined that she knew all along she was not his kid.

"Yes. Kate. You took me away from my mom and forced me to live with you and love you as my dad. You denied me the pleasure of living with my own parents. "

"But I loved you Kate. Like  my own daughter. You know that. "

"Yes, I know you did. And for that reason. I... I just can't kill you. "She withdraws her gun and relief washes over Lucas' visage.

"But I will. "Oliver's voice booms around us.

He lifts his gun and without hesitation, he drives the  remaining bullets in his gun towards Lucas' chest  until  we are left with a lifeless Lucas on the floor of his office.

Zoe hops the remaining distance and gives Oliver a hug of a lifetime.

"Its all over baby. Its all over. "

"Oh no, if something happens to my babies I'm  divorcing you. And this time round its for good. "I can hear my mom's voice and then  finally I see her. She's  with Liam , William and dad.  As soon as she sees me, she rushes and hugs me.

"I thought I lost you baby. I'm sorry. "

"No, this can't happen. "Noah mutters.

I turn to look at him and he aims his gun at me.

"You knew he was like a brother to me. Why did you let your sister take him? "He cock's his gun and the next thing I fell is numbness and all I see is darkness.
