"Wake up! Come on! It's a new day, and we have things to do!" I hear CeCe's voice call out.
Slowly, I push the covers off and crawl down the ladder.
Nate gets up and opens one eye, with a 'how-dare-you-wake-me-up' look on his face.
"What. Time. Is. It." He growls.
I look at the clock on the wall of the train car, "It's.. FIVE IN THE MORNING!"
"Are you kidding me!" Jen's voice comes out mumbled because of the pillow she has shoved on her face.
Melody has already hopped out of bed and is standing beside Jens bed with a smile on her face.
After a lot of pulling, yelling, and threatening CeCe finally manages to get all fifty of us up.
I take the box with my clothes to the bathroom and get changed. Inside, is a pair of black jeans, a black top and a blue hoodie. I look around and see that everyone has the same thing, except, the boys hoodie looks a bit different. And, obviously, theirs are bigger.
Woo, more blue! Who would've guessed?
As if she read my mind, CeCe says to us, "I'm sure most of you have noticed that we have a lot of blue in these sections of the train! You'll soon be told why. For now, look out the window and you'll notice something else about a colour."
I look out the window and immediately I see it. Three groups, all in different colour hoodies.
One is yellow, one is brown, and the other group is purple.
In the yellow group I see someone I know, it's Carrie.
"Each group is assigned a colour?" I ask.
"Yes! That's right!" CeCe says, obviously pleased someone got it so quickly. "You have to be wearing something of this colour the whole time you are here so we can always know where you belong."
"But, couldn't someone in another group wear blue? Then you'd think they were a Sixteen." A tall girl with glasses asks.
"They are not allowed to. Just like you are not allowed to wear anything other than blue, black or white. And like I said, you need to be wearing something blue at all times. And if you noticed there are only three groups out there so far. The Nineteens, The Eighteens, and The Seventeens. We need to go next. Could you please line up?" CeCe says.
When everyone lines up, I'm at the very front. CeCe asks me to hold out my arm, and I do. She pulls out a long needle and is about to stick the end into my wrist when I pull back as hard as I can.
"What is that?!" I exclaim.
"It's so there is no way for you to get lost and so you will have no way of trying to switch groups."
"Okay..." I say, slowly handing her back my arm.
I wince when she sticks the needle in, but the pain last only a few seconds. The scary thing is that I see a band of blue slowly coming to the surface of my skin, around my wrist.
I gasp "What's happening to my arm!"
"It's supposed to do that." CeCe responds, and grabs the arm of the person behind me.
I step out of the train and look around. We're in what looks like a train station, except it's completely made of glass. A big glass dome. Though the glass I see a hallway leading to more buildings. On the other side of the dome, I see trees and grass through the glass.
