ON THE ROAD
It has been a long road thus far,
And it edges even further ahead.
But we've managed to withstand
And turned out stronger than we were.
Though trouble may lie on our way,
Whatever the cause, we won't be swayed.
We'd move on facing it day by day
Till at the end we prevail.
It won't be easy but it won't be impossible,
For on this same road lay pleasant surprises
And as long as we remain on the road,
We remain in control of our choices.
