Nothing is worth waiting for
When all it brings is itself.
Been down that road so many times
The disappointments are no longer surprising. It's all pointless really,
Every promise, every hope it's all a ruse,
A scheme to see how high we can rise
And how epic our fall would be when we're handed our ass.But it seems we're a sucker for such trauma
Cause regardless of how many times we've suffered,
All it takes is just a light to flicker or a promise caught in a whisper
And we're up there again, desperately hoping against all odds that nothing isn't there.©Sephace_
