Hear our petition today, oh Lord,
Let all our travails not be in vain.
Crown all our efforts, Lord,
Put an end to our sufferings and pain.
Change our narrative from here on out,
Give us a new song to sing.
Let your work manifest in our lives,
Let our lights shine brighter for all to see.
Many thanks we give unto you, Lord,
Unending praises will we sing to your name
As we carry on with a joyful heart,
With a new beginning ahead and previous shortcomings left behind.
