She won't marry for money,
She would marry for love.
She won't heed to daddy,
She wants to be like mommy.Mommy says not to be foolish,
She shouldn't argue with daddy.
The chief has lots of money
And his son does look lovely. But she has always been heady
And daddy's done lost his patience.
He brought the chief's son home to visit,
To pledge her hand in marriage. My heart's with someone else, she cried.
I won't marry who I don't love.
You're my daughter you'd do as I wish
Now get on your knees and worship his feet.A girl was born to listen,
To do as she's told.
Not to complain or be bold,
I won't have it in my household.Then I'd leave father, I swear I'd leave.
I'd elope with the man whom my heart's with,
I'd turn my back on all curses and pleas.
If I can't marry for love, I'd rather not live.Goodness me daughter you shouldn't say such things!
My old weary heart cannot stand the heat.
Why would you rather die than do as we wish,
Your father and I wants the best for you, don't do this please. Then don't make me marry that man that's looking at me with hungry eyes,
He's having an erection already watching me argue with you.
Is this who you want for me?
You say you love me then please don't sell me for money or anything. My daughter, my daughter, forgive me I didn't know this wretched bastard was having an erection.
Get the hell out of my house and take with you your offer,
My daughter is no sex object for no goddamn pervert.
Now my angel, come and tell us about this your lover.©Sephace_
