Arjun POV

We returned to India. Maa was extremely critical after all the ruckus. Rajveer told her about my mafia connections and how i earned everything by illegal dealings. She was shocked and suffered mentally. She had heart attack. I knew that she couldn't believe that his son was not saint but i never wanted to be saint because my parents were nice people but suffered so much due to the cruelty and greed of screwed world. I never wanted to suffer like them. I wanted to get all the happiness which they deserved so i turned into beast for this world. I learned from my life that only a beast could rule the power and people. I got that power. But now i couldn't do anything with that power which became the cause of my mother misery.

I reached to hospital with Mukta directly from the airport. Rashmi was there, she was also shocked and furious over Rajveer. I felt relieved when she told me that maa was stable now. I went to see her in the room where she was lying fragile and dull on the hospital bed with wires around her. As soon as she saw me, she turned her glance away from my face. She didn't want to see my face. I stayed unmoved at my place for her one look but she didn't give it to me. Instead of that she told Mukta something which made me shocked and numbed,
" leave my son... he is not worthy of your love Mukta "

Rashmi forced me to return home with Mukta. She told me that she took care of maa. I was in my room alone,

I wanted to kill Rajveer for doing this to my mother. I wanted to destroy everything. I was feeling helpless, scared and broken. I left the wrong path long ago and mended my way then why all this happening now.

Rajveer said that he wanted me to suffer because what happened with Riya. I didn't even know what happened with her then how could he do this to my mother. My mother didn't want to even see me. I was dying each moment with her hate.

First time in my life, my eyes were feeling wet, i touched my tear tried to feel my pain but i was feeling nothing but numbness. My mind was stuck on my maa words.

Suddenly i felt a soft warmth around me. Mukta hugged me from behind, maa words ringed in my ears and i tried to jerked her away
"Mukta... didn't you listen what maa said... Please you should leave me... otherwise you will also suffer like maa with me...."

She hugged me tightly,
"Shut up... Arjun... maa didn't mean it... she is just angry with you...."

I looked away,
" no Mukta... she is broken by me.... i broke her heart...."

Mukta cupped my face,
"Look at me Arjun.... maa will be alright and she will forgive you...."

I saw her on her words, she was trying to soothe my pain,
"Do you believe me Mukta... i didn't do anything wrong with Riya and i left everything long ago...."

" Arjun... i know that you didn't do anything wrong... let people talk what they want... but i trust you only.... my love is not blind and i can see the truth in your eyes...."
Mukta smiled and gave me the relief and faith that her love is my strength. She was really my sunshine. I engulfed her in my arms with the pool of unexpressed emotions.

Mukta POV

When i reached to room with some refreshment for Arjun, i saw him lost and broken. I felt dejected to see him like that. I wanted to erase all his pain. Again Rajveer proved that he was a demon.

I tried to console Arjun in my best possible way. He was looking so vulnerable. He hugged me tightly and sobbed. I started to caressed his back.

I cupped his fàce and kissed him. He was not saint but he was my angel. Soon he slept in my arms. I tried to make him comfortable but as soon as i tried to get up, he instantly mumbled in his sleep,
" Please don't leave me alone Mukta...."

I set beside him again, he clinched my hand in possessive way. I kissed his forehead and mumbled,
" Arjun... i am here with you... i love you...."

After some time, i left him in deep sleep and took my phone. I dialed Aniket bhai's number and told him to come. Arjun was so vulnerable and if anyone could help me to find anything against the conspiracy then it was only him whom i could trust.
