52: finally

Mukta was looking her so called brothers. Rajveer looked ashamed infront of her while Aniket was waiting for her scolding. Arjun, Rashmi and Riya were also present there with anxious minds. Only Pramila was looking them with relaxed face.

Mukta looked towards Pramila who nodded in encouragement. Mukta started to speak,
"Ani and Rajveer you both equally hurt me.... Rajveer you never accept my existence in your life.... you made me suffer all the time i spent in my home... i can't say that .."

Rajveer was startled on her words,
"Mukta.... Please i know .... i made so many mistakes in my life but i beg you...please forgive me.... if you ever consider me your big brother then Please forgive me.... Arjun i also want to apologize you for my mother sin... my wrong deeds... Please all of you forgive me once.... please i will be the best brother, i will be the trusted friend... i will be the caring husband

Arjun and Aniket clunched their fists on Rajveer pleading. Arjun looked towards Mukta stone face,
"Mukta... i will forgive him if you want..."

Mukta smiled sarcastically,
"Why? Do you forget everything easily? Arjun it was you who made me realize that a person should not be weak. I can forgive Rajveer for what he did with me as brother because i understand the reasons what made you like this. In our family we lacked bonding and values. We got everything but values. My father, Rajveer mother everyone taught us only selfishness, hate, revenge."

She turned to Rajveer and said in calm voice,
"Rajveer,Your mother filled your mind with her flith, my father was no less, he ignored all your mistakes in life and never corrected you. Ani is not culprit here because you forced him to do like that. My father helplessness made him like that. My father was a weak person mentally who couldn't face the reality. But once i realized my worth in Arjun's life, once i found happiness in his love, i came to know that how selfless he is.... he forgot his revenge only for my love. So for his peace and happiness, i will forgive you both. Ani no matter what but you will be my family always. But Please you will not do anything wrong in future and i wish if you can correct your mistakes by accepting your wife and your baby....."

Mukta looked Aniket with sad eyes. Aniket looked her directly in her eyes,
"Mukta... i accept that what i did was completely wrong. I will not ask you to forgive me right now. You take your time like i made a decision. Mukta as you said, you found true love with Arjun, i also found my love in kayla. She is the one who can handle my broken self. Riya was a mistake i took in haste, i can only forgive her but i can't love her. I can be father of her child but i cannot be her husband. She is stranger to me, whenever i look her face, my memories of painful past come back. I can't forget that.... i can't live with that all my life...."

He sighed. Mukta hugged him,
"I respect your decision brother.... i am sorry... i will never ask you...."

She turned to Rajveer and Riya,
"Ani is right... if i want to forget my pain then i have to forgive you.... so i forgive you both...."

Rajveer felt relieved and came forward to hug her,
"Thanks dear... you give me life again.."

Mukta stopped him by her hand,
" i said i forgave you both but sorry i can't also forget my mother death... you both siblings can spend your life without any animosity from now on but never call me your sister. I have only one brother Aniket so you can both leave from my premises.... Rajveer from now on you are only a distant relative of my husband for me.... before you never treated me as a sister now i can't...."

She said and left the room without looking to anyone. They were all surprised and shocked to know her decision. Arjun followed her in her room. He saw her looking calm and composed.
"Are you ok... princess...."

Mukta smiled to him and hugged him tightly,
"I am feeling very relax first time in my life. Arjun i love you very much and thanks for being my shield. You are my everything.... my family..... my love... my strength...."

Arjun laughed on her antics,
"I understand princess.... you don't have to describe it... "

Mukta felt shy and her face turned beetroot red instantly when she looked in his naughty and hungry eyes.

Rajveer was looking defeated, he understood that he and Mukta couldn't be family. He had to regret for all his sins.

Riya was also feeling the same thing.
"Bro.... you know... first time in my life i realized that how do you feel when someone crushed your hope and feelings. Mukta is right we should not be around them. They deserve happiness now and our remorse cannot remove their scars. So we should go far away from here ....."

They left the place quietly. Arjun and Mukta saw them from distance.

After 6 months,

Rajveer, Riya and Rashmi left the country. Aniket got married to kayla and our Arjun and Mukta as usual lived in their happy space.

Mukta was 4 months pregnant. Pramila and Arjun was happy beyond the limits. Arjun was patiently handling her mood swings and bearing her anger.

She became so cranky with times....
Today was no less. She was furious over him on tabloid gossip about his old affairs.

"How dare you Arjun... how could you date someone else...."

Arjun looked her bewildered,
"But princess.... the news is old... when i was not married to you... but now i love you only..."

Mukta pouted,
"Ohhh so you loved her also... you are my one and only man in my life but why i am not..."

Arjun became frustrated but composed his calm,
"Baby.... its not important that you are not my first love but you should bd happy that you are my real and last love..."

Mukta instantly melted down,
"But i will not say this..."

Now Arjun looked her with shocked expression,
"Why?"

Mukta kissed him and replied,
"Because my last love will be my son or daughter... always...."

They laughed with content.
