49: mother

Arjun was trying hard to gain his mother's love and faith again but Pramila was so hard to bent. She was so angry with him. While on the other hand Rajveer was creating so much mess for him.

He complained against him to police station for the charge of kidnapping Riya. Arjun was feeling suffocated due to the sudden problems. Police arrested him and locked up.

Mukta who was trying to be his strength all the time was now furious beyond the limit. How could Rajveer do that. She was shocked on the new turns of events. She could handle Pramila but Rajveer made Arjun arrested and this was the last nail for her.

She went to meet Pramila at Rashmi's home, Rajveer was happy to see her there.

"Oh Mukta... my sister finally realized that we want her best..."

Mukta gave him a sharp look,
"I am not here to meet you Mr Rajveer... i want to see my husband's mother...."

She directly barged into Pramila room,
"Maa... we have to talk...."

Pramila looked her with surprise,
"May i know if i am talking with my daughter Mukta or criminal Arjun Verma's wife Mukta?"

Mukta looked her with pain,
"Maa... he is not a criminal... Please don't call him like that.. he didn't kidnap Riya...."

Pramila sighed on her reply,
"So what if He didn't kidnap Riya but he broke the law by doing illegal things in past...."

Mukta whined on her answer,
"But maa... Rajveer also is not saint.... why aren't you trying to understand maa.... just think with Arjun's point of view... he was so lonely in past, there was none who could guide him and show him the right way.... he is a gem person maa... may be he walked on dark path for success, i can totally understand that he wanted revenge so he was blind but he never did anything heinous for his revenge, he didn't kill anyone for his revenge.... he could took his revenge when he married me... he could leave me in lurch but he didn't.... he always stood with me like a rock. He loved me and he can die for you maa... he wanted to see you happy... he wanted to give you comforts .... he was just an aimless youth that time and someone took the advantage of his naivety... it was not his fault maa..."

Pramila replied in firm tone,
" you are saying that he had no one...but i was there always with him.. didn't he see my struggle... how could he justify himself like this...."

Mukta replied,
"Maa... he didn't justify himself... he never defend himself. I am saying this to you... i accepted that you struggled for him but do you know that this struggle of yours made him more determined to take revenge.... maa he couldn't see your helplessness... he wanted to give you happiness but his perception of happiness was wrong.. he thought that your happiness lies in revenge and the things which you lost once... but maa you always knew what he was trying to do so why didn't you stop him... why didn't you tell him that revenge is not what you want..... why didn't you ever stop Rashmi when she was marrying to Rajveer.... why didn't you stop your son when he was seeking his revenge..... "

Pramila was speechless,
" i didn't know for revenge, he did crime..."

Mukta chuckled sarcastically,
"Maa.... tell me who take revenge with morals and righteousness..... revenge itself the name of destruction so revenge and crime is synonymous...."

Pramila could not say a word,
" so... now you are telling me that as a mother i failed with my upbringing..."

Mukta held her hand,
" no maa... as a mother you did splendid job.... you gave him morals.... your values saved him from the darkness... your blessings showed him right way.... may be life pushed him on wrong track but you were always his light. "

Pramila smiled,
" that idiot is very lucky.... he got you as a wife... you trust him more than me..."

Mukta smiled back ,
"Maa... Please tell me truth.... do you really think that he is wrong.... i know maa you can't..... you also trust him.... if not him then your values.... you know in your heart that he can't be wrong...."

Pramila wiped her tears,
" tell him that i am with him.... i believe that you will prove him innocent..."

Mukta was relieved,
"So maa... Please let go to our home...."

Pramila nodded.

Rajveer was waiting for Mukta. She came out with Pramila. He was confused to see them.
"Pramila maa.... where are you going.... Mukta i need to talk to you..."

Mukta hissed on him,
"First you have to take back your complain against my husband...."

Rajveer denied,
" no... he kidnapped Riya...."

Mukta burst on him,
" can you prove that he kidnapped your slut sister...."

Rajveer turned angry on her words,
"Mukta....watch your words,"

Mukta chuckled sarcastically
"Yes sorry to say ... but do you have proof.... my husband was not behind your little sister but you both siblings wanted to trap him..... if you want i can proove this in court that how you and riya wanted to kill me... how you killed my mother.... how you did so many sins... if Arjun is culprit so you are the biggest culprit... you should be in the jail instead of him.... and i will make sure that..."

Rajveer was cringed on her accusations and tone.
" Mukta... Mr gupta is Arjun's loyal person... he kidnapped Riya and caged her in your mansion..."

Mukta looked him with hard look,
"Mr. Gupta is my manager.... the mansion is mine so it should be me who involved in the crime not him.... since 1 years the house belongs to me.... so i should go to jail.... "

Rajveer was taken aback by her words,
"Mukta... what happen to you.... you left him before a year if you remember because you didn't want to live with him then why suddenly so much love for him...."

Mukta felt her heart raising,
"I left him because of Riya.... i left him because i was stupid.... but now i understand that he was the only one who is really mine..."

Rajveer was about to say something when they heard the words from behind,
"Arjun Verma didn't kidnap Riya but i did...."

All the heads turned towards the source. Mukta was shocked to see him,
"Aniket.... bhai.... Ani you? Why?..."

Rajveer was furious,
"It was you always Mr Andrew desouza or should I call you kabir.... what is your real name?"

"You can call me your enemy Rajveer... it will suits you... but do you really forget me? Aniket is not forgotten easily... call your sister or my ex wife.... she will be very happy to see the nightmare...." Aniket smirked on him....

Mukta was super confused but became furious on him. She slapped him very hard,
"Ani.... you are my brother.... how could you do this with us.... just because of you... Arjun is in trouble.... "

Aniket looked to his little angel,
" Mukta Please i am so sorry.... i can explain even but please forgive me ...."

He turned to Rajveer,
"And you Mr Rajveer.... just bring Arjun here to us.... this time no one can come between my angel and my friend...."
