Harry's P.O.V.

"What's wrong with you?" Gemma sits beside me in bed. It's a blessing to have such an annoying sister.

"Let me guess... It's mom and dad again." I didn't respond. It's just a moment of silence and reflection. 

"Well speak to me, It's not like I'm always home to comfort you." 

"Fine." I sigh. "It's been years and father still has a bad impression on my friends.

How else am I supposed to live my life if he gets to choose who I hang out with."

"Pffft! Like he's not watching Ashton's every move when he comes in our house!" Who wouldn't? Her boyfriend is weird. Very weird, sometimes he smiles at me in a creepy manner. He dresses like those old saggy people riding motorbikes! Alice is just normal, she might be a little clumsy but she knows how to act her age. 

"You'll get used to it." she turns off the lights and turned away from me.

I might as well sleep now.

Coldplay's Paradise plays, music to my ears. I'm still in the mood to get cozy with my best friend, bed. 

The song replayed. 

Oh God, I just realized that was my alarm! I stood up quickly and went to the bathroom. By far, that was the fastest shower I have done. Then I dressed up for school, sweater, gel slacks shoes. I got less than 5 minutes. I'm just gonna walk, I don't want to bother him to take me to school.

"Harry, can I talk to you for a second." mother calls out.

I glanced at my wrist watch for dramatic purposes. "Sure."

"Your father and I talked about having dinner with the Callisters." 

"Hmph!" he said whilst scrolling down his e-mails. 

"We did this so we can get to know them better."sipping coffee. I just nodded and dismissed myself.

Good for them, they finally got into their senses.

"Phew! Lex I was so close to being late."

"Harry you're 30 minutes early." she closed her locker and gave me poker face. I'm sorry for having a different definition of LATE.

"Alice, is the late hobo. I bet she's still snuggling with her pillows" she jokes.

"Yeah." my focus moves to Kim and her friends coming in our place. I shook my head, I'm not supposed to feel like this.

"Harry what the heck did I just hear?" I turned my head back in her direction.

"I think I heard you whisper 'I'm not supposed to feel like this'" mocking my accent. I just had to be British!

Bloody hell did I just spill that out of my mouth??!! Jesus, I think I'm going insane!

She's coming.

I don't know much about Lex and Kim's history, but as far as I know they've been competing against each other since the time of the dinosaurs.

"Hey Harry, what are you doing with, her." emphasizing HER, her face clearly shows disgust. 

"Please, I always hang out with Ally and Haz, there's not much of a question." and now she gives her a death glare.

Right now I'm in a state of awkwardness and somebody please help me because I feel like they are about to slit each other's throat. 

"Well whatever there is going on, I'm giving you a free invitation to come eat with us. Whenever you're bored hanging out with them, you can come with us anytime." her friends showing fake smiles. I don't know what's with her but she changed lately.

"Ciao." the snapped their fingers and turned around in Z formation. Then they waddled away.

I feel insulted and happy at the same time. What the hell? she gives me goosebumps, and sometimes my heartbeat goes too fast I think I'm going to explode. I don't think it's because she's hot and all.
