Amaya POV
When George dropped me home I kept wondering why August send someone to pick me up maybe he was caught up in work . I turned on the television and saw breaking news.
Reporter: breaking news a tragic incident happened today a wearhouse was burned to ashes today in Louisiana. Investigator Ramain Clark says that crisp of burnt bodies we're found , money and drugs. Clark says that this was a gang war and he is intended to find whose to ever cause this.
Oh my God I tried calling August I got no response I called Chris nothing I called T sill nothing I even tried calling Casey but lucky for me I got through. I asked her if she heard from Chris she said no . I sat on down wondering were the hell was August until I heard the door bell rang .I went to the door and to my surprise in was August.
Amaya: aug?
August: can I come in?
Amaya: yeah sure .
August: thank you .
Amaya: okay now what happened ?
August: it was all my fault Maya all my fault.
Amaya: what was ?
August: T got shot and it was my fault. I stared at August for a minute and saw that he was devastated by what had happened I looked in his eyes and it looked as if he was lost again.
Amaya: can you tell all that as happened please ?
August: I was working and it was alot so I sent George to pick you up cause I was really busy then Chris came in yelling that we were under attack . It was a mess Amaya . I heard T yelling for help so I found him and he was just laying there with blood all over him . I can't even see him you know his mother blames me for the incident and I blame my self too . You know when he had his daughter his girlfriend Rachel begged me to get him out the game and I begged T to get out so bad but he didn't.
Amaya: Aug it's not your fault and T is strong I know he is going to wake up and be ok but I think his mother his wrong to blame you for all this how would you know that someone was going to attack you for no reason. Babe look at me it's not your fault it's no one's fault all this happened for a reason anyway . Its one thing I have to ask his that who burned the building.
August: what you mean?
Amaya: the trap was burned to ashes it was on the news.
August: I don't know maybe it's one of my boys . I'll deal with that later I just want T to be okay .
Amaya: he's gonna be fine Aug .
I held August in my arms as he cried . I never see someone so broken ever . I was going to make Aug a cup of tea when the door busted open . Casey came in around with tears in her eyes .
Amaya: Casey what's wrong?
Casey : where's Chris I saw the news.
August : Casey Chris is fine he's at the hospital waiting for T to wake up.
Casey: oh my God T got shot . So what are you doing here ?
August: am not allowed to see him just yet.
Casey: it's okay August he's going to be fine and we're all here for you . I gave August the tea and we all sat down and waited for the call to let us know what is taking place. We eventually fell asleep in living room until I heard August phone ringing loudly I grabbed it and answered.
Phone convo
Chris: Aug he's awake and asking for you.
Amaya: it's Maya but I'll let him know be their in less than a hour.
Chris: okay where's case?
Amaya: she's fine but she is worried about you .
Chris: ' sigh ' okay see you guys soon .
End of phone convo
I woke August up and told him the good news . We all went into the car and drove to the hospital we reached in at least fifteen minutes . We went to T's room and saw a lot of people standing at the door . August went into the room with me by his side. We stepped in and T turned his head to us .
Big T: boss mane why ya look like ya ass was crying? T laughed at Aug for a guy who was shot four times he new how to joke around.
August: yeah well when you see ya best friend dying you can't do nothing but cry .
Big T: am sorry Aug I really am but at least I killed that little bitch right.
August: it's Kool am just glad you okay mane but who shot you T?
Big T: Scott but I put a bullet in his head twice you know .
August: that's mah boy .
Big T: can y'all tell everyone to get in here. August called everyone in and they all came and kissing on T . Chris was the last to come in but I saw something in his eyes he was scared to approach him .
Big T: Chrissy come here darling .
Chris: I thought I told you not to call me that. They both hugged and Chris broke down in his arms. Crying hysterically .
Chris: am sorry I left you T am sorry if I didn't this wouldn't have happened .
Big T: hey relax if you were there he would probably kill one of us first and I wouldn't want that . Chris , August and T held each other and cried there eyes out . No one would've thought that these three men would be crying . T's mother excused her self with August behind her . T turned to me giving me a smirk .
Big T: Maya baby how are you ?
Amaya: don't you think I should be the one asking you that.
Big T: yeah but let's try and think about the positive side of this situation . Rachel come here? A short Burnett hair girl walk over to us holding a baby in hand .
Big T: rach this is Maya August girl . Maya this is rach my future wife . Rachel turned to me and gave me a friendly smile.
Rachel: hi Maya it's nice to finally meet you .
Amaya: same here .
August came back with T's mother who was hugging him and kissing all over his face . I went over to him and walked out of the hospital.
August: I love you so much Amaya.
Amaya: I love you too Aug .
August: you know it's about a month until we visit my parents right.
Amaya: yeah am really nervous to meet your family.
August: my family will love you but I know for sure that you will get along well with my brother Travis .
Amaya: you have another brother .
August: yeah it was me, Mel and Travis .
Amaya: well then am looking forward to it . August smiled and kissed my lips but his cell phone rang . I pulled away from him and let him answer his phone. August talked for a good while know but then he walked off and went back in the hospital I waited for him and he came back.
August: it was my mama. She heard what happened and wanted to know if T was okay.
Amaya: it's fine . We should go back inside.
August: okay sure .
