field trip!

we and the senior batch were travelling to jeju island where beaches, waterfalls and mountains were commonly known.

it was my first time going to jeju island because my family never liked spending savings for nothing other than education and survival, it was called savings for a reason after all.

i'm excited as you promised you'd tour me around on the day where we were free to explore.

jeju island, here we come!

you rested your head on my shoulder as we sat inside the bus with comfortable positions.

people walked in the aisle as they looked for their spot. "we'll be travelling to the pier first then we'll be taking the ship to go to jeju." our teacher told us as she made sure everyone was listening.

however you weren't, you were deep asleep and i took the opportunity for granted.

i stroked your hair behind for face, tracing your unrealistic jaw in satisfaction. your eyes immediately fluttered open as soon as i took my hand off of your jaw. "chaesoon," you cooed.

"hmm?"

i hummed, closing my eyes as i tried looking for a comfortable position. the weight on my shoulder suddenly disappeared and you brought your hand up to my face.

without a word, you pecked my cheek and buried my head into your chest. "sleep." as if i was hypnotized, i fell into slumber and i felt your lips growing into a smile.
