Umbridge!?

"What are you doing here!?" I demanded, towering above her as she realised her mistake and put up her perky facade. I'm glad Thorn was at a health check up because he definitely would have died from toxins from the amount of perfume she wore.

"I'm here on behalf of your Aunts, darling," she spoke, flashing a fabulously fake smile. I narrowed my eyes.

"I don't talk to my aunts or my uncles, I get a few galleons on my birthday and that's it, what do they want?" I crossed my arms, becoming rather suspicious.

"They want you to come home, they're worried about you, you didn't forget that you were meant to get betrothed, you're embarrassing your family," she spoke the last bit quietly, her smile not faltering.

"Of course I didn't forget, I just chose to ignore it,"

"What's going on," Charlie questioned as he came up behind me and wrapped an arm around my waist once he caught on that I was about to pounce at the pink clothed woman.

"Dolores Umbridge, I'm here to take Miss Davies home," I cut her off instantly.

"THIS is my home now," I narrowed my eyes.

"Darling, you know your place. You're a pureblood start acting like it," she spoke with venom lacing her seemingly caring voice.

"I care not for blood status!" I argued and anger flashed across her face for a moment.

"They made it VERY clear to me. You are to go home and as the only born female in the family at the moment you are to be wed to the richest pureblood possible." She spoke firmly and I tensed, Charlie noticing this gave be a comforting squeeze.

"I'm not marrying whatever greasy man they've tricked! I'm marrying whoever I want to marry, I'm going to marry for love not power! If they have a problem with that then they can come themselves and I can give them a piece of my mind! They have no right to dictate to me what I can and can't do! They may be blood but they're no family to me." I ranted, practically snarling and to say she looked taken aback would be an understatement.

"They won't leave this alone, you know that," she warned with a glare before she apparated away and I practically melted into Charlie's side in relief.

"You should be a motivational speaker, love," Charlie joked and I smiled weakly but the anger flooded me once again. I'm not going to be sold like an object! I pushed away from Charlie lightly and began to walk towards the steps down to the dragons.

"Where are you going?" He questioned, jogging to keep up with me.

"A walk," I spoke simply and he nodded in understanding, falling into step next to me.

"Alone," I tried to give him a subtle hint but he simply grinned cheekily and ignored my words. Idiot.

"Do you ever give up?" I questioned, raising an eyebrow and he smirked, grabbing my hand and placing a delicate kiss on the back of my hand, maintaining eye contact.

"For you, love? Never," he winked and I looked down, my face bright crimson. Damn you, smooth git. I thought once he kissed my hand he would have let go but nope! He laced out fingers together, looking down at me.

"Do you find joy in embarrassing me Charles?" I asked, finding my voice.

"Yes, it's quite amusing," he teased, using our laced hands to spin me. I rolled my eyes, attempting to calm my flaming cheeks. The gestures made my heart ache, knowing he didn't mean any of it.

"Hey what's wrong?" He questioned, concern lacing his voice.

"Just this whole marriage thing," I lied and he seemed to believe me but not fully.
