I went to the table carefully putting down the book. Opening the book, it had some king of writing that I didn't recognized. Looking at the first page there's a writing that was readable.
"The ancient script will be revealed to does that see beyond one's eye"
"Ancient script?" – I said curiously
I look though every page, but they are all with that weird writing.
"How am I supposed to read this?"- I said
Suddenly I sensed someone behind me that I knew who it was.
"Cindy don't even try"- I said while still eying the book
"How did you know I was here"- she asked
"I kind of sensed you walking up behind me"- I replied
"So, what you're doing?"- she asked curiously sitting in front of me
"Doing some research on the different kinds of abilities there are but I can't seem to read this dang book"- I said frustrated
"What you mean you can't read it?"- she questioned
"See for yourself"- I said turning the book toward her
Cindy turned the pages of the book and immediately she made a confused face.
"I've never seen a book like this, nor with this writing"- she said
"Not only that but the only thing readable is that message on the first page that doesn't make sense" – I said
"Beyond one's eye?"- she questioned
"Yeah I can't quite understand yet, maybe we have to find someone that could read this an translate it"- I said to her
"Wait a minute, or maybe the answer is right in front of us"- she said
"Huh"- I looked at her confused
"Think about it, the writing says beyond one's eye, right?" I nodded "Meaning it may be referring to you, look at it this way, you got a unique ability that nobody has seen before and your eyes shift when you use your ability, now all of a sudden you find this book?" – she explained
I paused and thought about it
"This can't be a coincidence, right?"- I said
"Well give it a try and see if it works"- She said
"Well... here goes nothing"- I said closing my eyes, doing so I felt my eyes shift
Opening them I widen eyes seeing the book
"Can you read it?"- Cindy asked curiously
"I actually can"- I said amazed being able to read the book
I turned the page and the inscription was readable now
