"Joseph listen to me "- I heard my mom's voice say
"Mom?"- I said shocked looking at her
"Whatever happens to us, you will be the one to protect this family"- She said to a younger version of me
"I love you mommy"- The younger version of myself said hugging her
"I love you too darling"- she said hugging myself and parting away, doing so everything went dark
I slowly opened my eyes and I was greeted by bright lights shining directly towards me. Squinting my eyes, I turned away groaning.
"Oh, Sorry about that, ill close the shutters"- I heard someone say as well as a little shuffling and the room became dark enough for me to open my eyes easily
My vision was a little blurry but slowly it was coming back. I focus on things around me and I found myself in a white room.
"Where am I?"- I said trying to get up but my whole body felt weak
"You're in the infirmary"- I heard a voice say and there was a woman walking towards me wearing white clothes and with a clipboard in hand
"How long was I out?"- I asked
"You were out for two days"- she said looking through some papers
"Two days?!?!?"- I yelled
"Yeah, you..."- she said getting interrupted
"Joseph your finally awake"- I heard a familiar voice say
"Javier?"- I said as I looked at him making his way towards me
"As I was saying, you were brought here by this young man unconscious after an incident that occurred"- she explained
"But what happened?"- I ask
"You don't remember anything that happened?"- Javier asked
"Well I'll let you two talk while I go to see the other patients, if you need anything call me"- she said and walked away
"What's the last thing you remember?"- Javier asked
"Well everything is fuzzy but what I can remember is seeing Luke and his friends combining their powers to attack me, after that they were going to attack me but..."- stopped mid-sentence
"OMG!!... WHERES CINDY?!"- I yelled worried trying to get up
"Joseph calm down, if it's the girl you protected she is all right, she got dispatched that same day minutes after"- He explained calming me down
"Oh"- I said little relaxed
"Every morning and afternoon she comes here waiting for you to wake up"- He explained
"Well she's not the only one who was waiting for me"- I smiled
"Oh shut up, if it wasn't for me you would still be laying on the ground"- he said
"Thanks for that"- I said gratefully
"Don't mention it"- he said rubbing the back of his head smiling
My head isn't that clear on things yet. Slowly my strength was coming back and I can easily move. The fact I was still curious of what happened.
"So what happend to me?"- I asked Javier curiously
*Flash Back* Javier's POV
I ran and ran as fast as I can to get to where he was. As I got there I saw Joseph shaking a girl that was on the ground almost crying. Suddenly his face expression changed completely. He stood up and everything went berserk. Students came out the cafeteria surrounding them from a distance. The ground started shaking and the wind went crazy. It's like he's another person, not only that but his eyes changed color to an aqua blue color and there glowing.
