IT WAS ANOTHER DAY IN CENTRAL CITY AND ANOTHER FIGHT FOR THE FLASH. The city's scarlet speedster stood in one place, his gaze focused on two familiar faces in front of him. Leonard Snart and Mick Rory, AKA Captain Cold and Heat Wave, stood in in front of him with their weapons pointed directly at him. The same weapons that his friend Cisco Ramon invented, two polar opposite weapons for the pair's polar opposite personalities.

Both polar opposites, even with their contrast beliefs, now had the same idea reflected in their eyes: Him. The pair aimed at the scarlet speedster and pulled the trigger without hesitation. One of them, Captain Cold's gun, shot a ray of blue cold energy, cold enough to turn you into a popsicle at instant contact. The other one was a blast of wild and chaotic fire with an equal level of destruction as the holder.

The scarlet speedster reacted quickly and ran straight for the middle, the blasts blowing past him and into the empty spot where he used to be. The partners in crime groaned in irritation and turned around to witness as their opponent ran straight for a glass building. Instead of crashing he ran up the windows and up to the very top where he made a U-turn and on the last two floor levels and headed straight down.

"He's coming back around!" Mick yelled with a deep and gruff voice. His hands tightening around his gun in anger.

"Yeah, to die!" Snart yelled back at his partner. Both partners raise their guns and aim, believing they had a chance when The Flash ran straight for Mick. The speedster pushes Mick back against a black van, the impact causing the driver's window to crack and collapse a million little pieces. Holding Mick against the van, the Flash turns until his back was against Mick's chest. Pulls Mick's arm over the speedster's shoulder he quickly aims and shoots at Snart who rolls out of the way.

Turning back around, The Flash uppercuts Mick with his superspeed and knocks him out. While Mick fell to the floor the sound of a gun recharging reaches the speedster's ear. Moving out of the way at the last second, Snart ended up shooting the speedster on his right shoulder. The cold instantly passes through his suit and stings at his shoulder like acid. Running out of the clear shot, the speedster runs around the truck and crouches down, back against the front right wheel.

"I swear one of these days I will kill you!" Snart yelled from his spot not noticing the ball of fire from behind him until it hits the ground. The ball explodes, knocking him over a near blue rail landing on his back. The city's hero runs over to the disarmed criminal and disassembles the weapon using his speed, letting the parts fall to the floor.

Looking up from where the ball of fire originated, the scarlet speedster is met with the sight of Firestorm elevated in the air. Ronnie Raymond was covered in flames from head to toe, the blazing fire reflecting the fire in contrast with his full-body black suit while his eyes remained pure neon white. "I was late again, wasn't I?"

"Right on time." The Flash shook his head with a smile of relief looking up at the metahuman above him, hovering in the air. Sirens wailed in the background, the signal that it was time for the pair of heroes to leave the scene. Firestorm let out a loud whoop before he flew up in the air and left, leaving the speedster to run after him towards the same destination.

Both bodies rushed to S.T.A.R Labs and stopped at a safe distance. Firestorm lit up for a split second before the fire was gone leaving the two parts of Firestorm behind. The trio of metahumans walked out of the elevator and walked across a curved hallway that leads them to the cortex. Without the mask, the Flash is revealed as Barry Allen who is approached by his Hispanic friend Cisco Ramon, who smiled wide, "Two down at the same time? Superhero double play, baby!"
