NO MATTER HOW PREPARED YOU THINK YOU ARE FOR CHANGE, IT WILL ALWAYS HIT YOU WHEN YOU LEAST EXPECT IT. It can happen any day, any time, any moment, in any place, and in any way. Sometimes we can see it coming, and other times, it's already too late to stop it.

When Dr. Stein fell on the ground and collapsed, even if the team didn't know it, change was happening. The fire that had once been blue soon calmed down, like the calm of a storm, before it came back again in a ball. Using his speed, the speedster took the doctor towards the medical room by the cortex with the rest of the team to follow on foot. Cisco, Caitlin, and Bella rushed as fast as they could towards the cortex. At one point, the speedster came back from the medic room and took the three of them and swept them from their feet without notice. An action that earned him a smack upside the head by his daughter.

"A little warning next time!" Bella coughed out as she tried to catch her breath, hands on her knees.

"Sorry," Barry blurted out as he pulled a chair for his daughter to sit before helping Caitlin closer to Dr. Stein and help the doctor out.

After they caught their breath, the whole team got ready and started attending the doctor in need of help.

"Hold him steady!" Cisco yelled as he ran to one side and held Dr. Stein's arms down to keep him from shaking. The doctor's head burst into a blue flame. Caitlin attached a couple of wires to the man before she pulled her tablet to her, checking what was really going on and at what level was his heart picked up.

Bella and Barry helped their friends out as best as they could at the moment. Barry rushed over to the other side of the medical bed where Dr. Stein laid and held the other side of the man. Bella made her way to the feet and almost got kicked in the chin had she not moved at the last moment, before she reached out and put all her force into keeping the man's feet attached to the bed.

"Caitlin!" Bella called out.

"Uh," Caitlin trailed off, her finger swiping across the screen of her tablet, "he's dropping out."

"Here," Cisco calls out to Barry from the other side. His hands retrieving from the hold he had on Dr. Stein, only to be replaced by Barry's hold.

Bella's hands started to get sore, her hands turning white from her strong grip until she almost had her face on the man's feet. The man's body was warm, warmer than a regular human body's temperature. Behind her, the girl could hear her friend's t fingers typing on a keypad. It took the young girl a moment before she understood that her friend was programming the same contraption Ronnie put on the left side of his chest to unite Firestorm.

"Cisco, we're losing him!" Barry called out, looking at his daughter who was also struggling to keep a hold on the man.

"Got it." Cisco called out from his place before rushing over to Dr. Stein's chest, setting the contraption on the older man's chest, "Come on, come on, come on, come on."

Heading back over to his computer, the engineering genius typed in a command to activate the contraption and turned around to see if it worked. A couple of seconds passed by before the man in the bed, wrapped with blue fire in the head, calmed down. His shaking ceased down, his blue fire diminished, and his heart rate came back to normal.

Barry and Bella slowly let go of Dr. Stein, their eyes trained on the man in case they need to jump in and hold him once more. The four of them watched as the older man calmed down, seconds feeling like hours while their own hearts calmed down after all the panic.

After seeing the man in the medical bed was alright they whole team sighed in relief. Cisco lifting his hands to his hair, "Oh, Dios mio."Oh my God. Thank God."
