Tracy's POV

I stared back at Austin.
"Are you sure that's what she saw?" I asked.
"I am ninety-five percent sure," He replied "She wouldn't make a joke out of something like this,"
"What should we do?" I asked.
"Well, I hope that Skylar has burned the evidence, or at least somehow destroyed it. She hadn't replied yet though, although she did say she was okay,"
"You think Skylar will be back soon?" Bell asked
"Why wouldn't she? She would want to discuss this stuff with us, right?" I said.
"What if shes passed out or got caught by whoever was using the stuff?" Austin asked "We should probably head over to see if she's alright,"
"Over to Aurlium??? Are you crazy? Anyone who sees us there, we're pretty much dead meat," I exclaimed.
"Well, what do you think we should do?" Austin asked.
"Maybe wait for her to come to us?"
"What if she cants?"
"Look, Austin, just wait for her next message. Okay? What if she is okay and your just overthinking things," Bell put a hand on Austin's arm.
"Your probably right," He said "Alright fine. I'll let you guys know when she messages me again,"
"Hey babe," I looked up. It was Kevin. I grinned and moved over on the bench to let him sit down.
"Hey,"
"What's up?" He put an arm around me and I moved in closer. Austin stood up and coughed. He sent me a quick mind message which said 'Uh, I'm gonna leave before you two start making out'. I rolled my eyes.

(Skylars POV)
The next morning I awake at the break of dawn like I usually do. I light up my hand with a spell and look over at Sue. She's still curled up sleeping. I conjure up my light uniform and walk down to the common bathroom. I slide in, checking to see if anyone is there. It's empty, the only noise is the dripping of a broken faucet. I slip off my clothes and step into the warm shower. It has been a minute since I've had a proper show. Just as I'm finishing washing my hair I hear the door of the bathroom creak open. Someone walks into the stall next to me and turns on the shower as they start to hum. I quickly put on my uniform and walk out of the bathroom. I walk down to my first class, Chemistry of Casters. I haven't attended this class in a while so I grab the nearest textbook and start to read about what I've missed. Before I know it the bell rings and students start filing in.

The class goes pretty smoothly, I occasionally caught people staring and whispering but I ignore it. The next few classes go by quickly and the school day is finally over. I'm super lucky not to have any classes with Robin, Paul, and Sia today.
I send a mental message to Austin letting him know I'll be on my way.
I make my way across the field, my light uniform shining in the sun. I casually sit on a bench across from the bushes. I look around to see if anyone's watching me. I notice a few random students, but just as I think it's clear, a tall blonde boy surrounded by students catch my eye.

It's Paul, and he's staring right at me. I look eyes with him, challenging him to look away. I notice his hand slip into a bag hanging on his side. He's a good 30 meters away from me and surrounded by students, so he had no way of casting a spell without being noticed. I give him an innocent smile and wave, before casting an invisibility spell on myself, disappearing. I watch as he starts to sprint over to where I was, but there's no way he'll make it. I hop over the bushes and slide down the tunnel, closing it behind me.
Now inside the dead shed, the dead rat smell as strong as ever, I wait for a clear from Bell to open the door. I waited for a few minutes before hearing the familiar knocking code we devised. I opened the shed door and stepped out. Immediately, I felt a spell wash over me.
"Why are you wearing that?" She hissed "You could have been seen just now,"
I realized that I forgot to change into my dark uniform.
"Oops," I said. I walked into some nearby bushes and quickly changed uniforms.
After I changed, I followed Bell to the library. Inside, Austin was at a table with stacks of books piled up on either side of him.
"What are you doing?" I asked him. he looked up.
"I'm reading about previous major conflicts of our schools. Every battle, war, or even contest,"
"We hold contests?" Bell asked.
"We held contests," Austin corrected her "Cause we stopped about three hundred years ago, during the, uh, jump,"
"Jump?" I asked confused.
"Basically our school was teleported, somehow, here. Our schools actually used to be right next to each other. The one thing that connected them both was a kilometre long stone ridge. Although the more I read, the more I'm starting to think it was him,"
"Who?" Bell and I asked in unison.
"Forgot neither of you hasn't seen the principal yet. I'm referring to him. No one knows what he looks like, in real life, nor his actual name, but there have been rumours around the school that he is the embodiment of darkness or something,"
"So we  have an all-powerful being in this building who can teleport an entire school miles away without batting an eye?" I said "Sounds cliche,"
"Well, yes. Luckily, I doubt he knows about you. The abundance of dark magic around here probably muffles your light abilities. Plus, he hasn't come out of that...room of his in the past," Austin paused for a second to think "I think Millenium. What are the chances?"
"He's an all-powerful dark magic-wielding being," Bell reminded him
"Yes I know, thank you very much. Look, I've read somewhere that he requires drones or something to see outside his room. He might be all-powerful but his senses are pretty much human,"
"And remind me what's the point of telling us that? We wasted about fifteen minutes when we should be talking about how to stop three students at Aurlium from finding a way over here," I said "Besides, one, his names Paul, almost caught me,"
"Wait he almost caught you?" Austin's eyes widened.
"Relax. I cast a invisibility spell over myself when I saw him. He has no idea where I went," Austin looked at me through untrustful eyes.
"Are you sure?" He asked uncomfortably.
"Yes. Of course I am," I replied.
The small bell that hangs above the library door rung. Tracy walked in with Kevin in hand.
"Well, it's getting late I better get back to my dorm," I faked a yawn. Austin, completely oblivious to Tracy's apperance stared at me.
"Its 2,"
"Whatever," I quickly walked away, taking the route furthest from Tracy to take.
I've always wondered why is Lonerth just as sunny as Aurlium. You would expect the dark magic school to have constant rain or be permanently in the night. When I got to my dorm, I quickly cast a alarm spell over the door and locked it. Then, I laid on my bed. I didn't cry, but I did some incredibly deep thinking.
