Few days passed and Mat already felt like home. Then, he ought to, at least, while the period that he dwelled that place, be useful at something practical.
He wasn't very skillful in daily tasks, but he strived to help on the maintenance of the Inn. He took a few trips with Kalima to the next village to search for supplies. He watched everything just like a child. His tours with Kalima remembered him their past together.
On the other day by the morning, while he was leaving for his tasks, Mat gave an eye-corner glance to the Lonely Mountain. To the river. To the waterfall. Then, to the Woods.
His eyes fixed on that horizon. He remained still for a few seconds, then the servant called him.
He gave a small smile. His heart warmed. The Goddess was calling him. Would all that be true? Should he follow that chant?
Again, the servant requested him. He stopped daydreaming and they left.
They crossed again the road straight to the village. Seated on the wagon, Mat was away into his thoughts. He looked the road but couldn't see it. His heart was changing. Or maybe, his compass was pointing to a new North.
They gone went back and Mat was silent in his thoughts. It was almost lunchtime, but he wasn't hungry:
"Tell Kalima that I had to leave. Ask her to not wait for me for lunch."
The servant consented and Mat left for the Lonely Mountain. He arrived at the river. Passed throughout the waterfall and was nearby the Woods. His heart was pounding stronger. A wave of ecstasy and a frisson ran through his body when he arrived:
"Heeeeeeey!! I'm heeeeeere!!" He shouted out loud.
It wasn't a notification but an affront to the Isle's nature. Little by little, without any hurry, he entered the Woods. He searched in every direction. Up to Down. It had nothing.
He crossed the Woods passing through the place of the first encounter. Nothing. The same egg-shaped stone was there. He got shivers when started to return. He raised his arms like a boxer when got to the beginning of the Woods, the place of the second encounter. Nothing. Without a trace. He felt relief and disappointment at the same time. He continued his search. He walked around the waterfall, got back to the river. Nothing again:
"I cannot understand! The spirit should be living hidden here somewhere, in this part of the Isle. It was really everything just an illusion?"
Tired, Mat sat on a rock. He anchored his body and took a little nap. Woke up with a shock! He thought that he saw the Tree but was nothing. He got angry:
"What the bloody hell! Come! Show up or leave my head alone!"
The wind blew coming from the sea. It was a refreshing clean breeze. Just like a messenger, it reminded Mat his tasks.
"I'm leaving! Don't wait for me anymore!"
Two hours later he arrived at the Inn:
"Where was my Doctor?" Asked out Kalima.
"I was in a talk with the wind." Mat answered with a smile.
"So come on, little madman! We have an omelet, beef, and grains for lunch."
He had a late lunch while Kalima surrendered herself to the hard work. Some guests were waiting to book a room. The movement was increasing in the Inn. All rooms were practically booked:
"That's really great - Mat thought - It's nice that I don't need to book a room anymore" He joked.
Mat went upstairs to his room and stayed there. He lied down and closed his eyes. His Goddess Tree arose in his thoughts like a living painting. Woke up frightened. He got up from the bed and left.
He crossed the Inn's door in a hurry. Kalima hadn't noticed that he left.
He started to walk in another direction, not stopping. His feet couldn't stop working and his heart was pointing the way.
He only stopped nearby the stones on the beach. Over them, a medium-height cliff was cropping the cove from that point on. He was heading to the summit of the cliff. He didn't even know how he got there.
With the sunset over the sea, the Tree revealed itself in the back, higher, on the cliffs. It was a beautiful nature spectacle. The beautiful Tree and the sun, joining each other in beauty and fury.
Mat caught sight of the Tree and started to walk faster. His heart was pounding fast.
He was taken by energy and hurried up. No more doubts were left:
"Come to my body!" he called out.
Close to the moment of his arrival, the Goddess showed up with open arms. Mortally beautiful and ready.
They collided like a meteorite does when it collapses into the ground. Their bodies touched and started a rowdy, violent love between two species.
Compulsive and strong was the union. The Goddess cried inaudible sounds while Mat shouted with rejoicing and fright. They loved each other in every possible form. They were rubbing into each other. Their beautiful bodies showed the virtues sculpted of each species. They stayed like that for a while.
Mat wasn't aware, but the other goddesses were lurking, enjoying the show. They were also strong and beautiful. All of them, daughters of the Great Tree. Now they watched the Tiger and the Deer entangling their bodies.
At the end of the fruition, Mat exhausted turned over his body. It was like love a thousand women, he thought. He smiled and yelled.
The Alpha-Goddess withdrew herself a little. She looked at Mat with candor and fascination. Well, could be said that she enjoyed it, though Mat with victory stamped all over his face.
She looked at her sisters and nodded slightly with her head. The other females started to get closer.
Mat startled himself, wondering that might be his end. Now that the black widow already had fed up, it was dinner time, he thought moments before other Goddesses reached him.
He yelled and closed his eyes, waiting for death!
But the Goddesses wanted him alive. And well alive, for what happened next.
Even exhausted, Mat had to recompose because the beautiful land nereids started to rub against his body.
They licked him from head to toe in a unique voluptuousness. The saliva of their mouths was letting Mat's body wet.
Their breasts were also full and they rubbed it against his face. He sucks them. He grabbed one's buttock while drunk from the another's breasts. He searched for their genitalia and found them. They were moistened and ready for love.
With a last effort, Mat surrender to them. One by one, he dominated with strength. His body was endowed with a strange power that made him impossible to get tired. It was like a divine enchantment. With that impetus, he went till dark.
