As he was free for the day, Mat used it to rest. After the enchanted evening at the waterfall, his senses were lacking reality. After he finished reading the newspaper he brought from the Capital, he felt tired and went back to sleep.

Mat woke up to the sound of Kalima's voice. He went downstairs and was surprised by the one who was accompanying her. She was presenting the Inn for a handsome young man and passed quickly by Mat.

"Hello Mat," and turning to Satir, "Let me introduce him. This is Mat Salans, he is a doctor coming from the continent and is housed here with us."

"I also am the private doctor of miss Kalima Noisiv, for all your soul and love uneasiness. Nice to meet you!"

"Yes... He is my boyfriend. Mat, this is Satir."

"We are not a couple of valentines: we are more than that. Almost married. Mat Salans, at your service."

"Such a pleasure, Mr. Salans."

"The pleasure is all mine! But what brings you here? Did you come to find housing?"

"In deed, it is a long story, Mat, but in short, Satir will begin his duties here. He will be our new manager.

"Manager? For the Inn? But... Are you needing a manager here?"

"Mat! Yes, I truly need someone that will help me manage this Inn! Finally, I found someone for the job. Any other more question? Satir, come. Let me guide you to your room. It will not be definitive, but as soon as the guests leave the room at the end of the corridor vacant, it will be yours."

"Thank you very much, Miss Noisiv. Thank you for the opportunity."

"Have a good evening, Satir. We start serving dinner at 6 PM."

Kalima went upstairs to her room and Mat went right after her.

"Good evening, my brunette! When was it that you were to tell me such a story? And who is that Satir?"

"Which story? The one where I arrange a manager for the Inn and thus vacate my routine which used a lot of my time? What is that, jealousy? Yes, you are jealous, Mr. Salans, your voice tone indicates that. Jealous of a fisherman's son?"

"Perhaps I am... But why? Should I be jealous?"

"Stop saying foolish stuff, man! Satir will be my employee, he will certainly help me a lot from now."

Satir was the son of fisherman from the neighboring village, but he was lucky enough to live and study in the South Coast Village since his teenagerhood. Kalima met him right after she arrived on the isle, at the time he was still doing some work in the village and she was pleased to acknowledge all the education and politeness coming from that young man, son of fishermen. Also, she could not help but notice his beauty. Satir was tall, slightly taller than Mat and had a good portage. Obviously, he did not graduate from college, mostly because there were no colleges around, but even with the scarce study the Isle could provide him, Satir could become someone above the average of the South Coast Village

"And where did the idea of inviting him to come from? Weren't you with Elise?"

Kalima told him what happened: when she and Elise went out of the Inn that morning, they found Satir on the road and gave him a ride. As Kalima already knew him, they chatted on various subjects: among many other, they talked about the workforce in the Isle and how difficult it was to find someone more qualified. Now, Satir worked in a warehouse in South Coast Village and would be totally interested in working in an Inn by the village. The invitation came naturally and both parts converged to the same result: Kalima was already looking for help from someone more qualified and Satir was interested in a new opportunity. In the trip back, she had already brought Satir for him to start his work.

"But there wasn't anyone else for the position? Like someone older, and more responsible?"

"Satir is a well-educated guy and we do not have many qualified professionals in the Isle. Also, it is not easy to find someone who would work in the middle of the road. He was a good find."

"Good find? In what sense? Puff... I hope his endowments are solely professional, huh!"

"Mat Salans! Enough with jealousy. Let's stop with this. Come, let's have dinner."

They went downstairs for dinner and Satir was already there.

"Good evening again, Mrs. Noisiv and Mr. Salans."

"Good evening, Satir."

During dinner, Mat noticed something different in Satir. A more delicate tone than the expected from the son of a fisherman. An effeminate tone, he would say.

He observed during the whole night and when they went back to the room, Mat commented.

"You friend is different, isn't he?"

"Like what?"

"Yes, different. He looks slightly effeminate... Feminine, besides his masculine appearance. Better. This way I feel better."

Effeminate only in his faraway dreams, thought Kalima with herself, mingling with her own heated libido.
