Sorry for the wait, I was having trouble finding inspiration. Anyways, without further ado, welcome to Chapter 12.

When I woke up Allie had her head on my chest. She was cute when she slept. Half her hair was in a bun and the other half was very frizzy. She was in her underwear but had an old softball jursey on. Nothing had happened last night. We just slept.

I laughed as I saw the drool dripping g from her mouth. No way many people have seen this side of her. Well, the unconsious side.

I look over at the clock. It reads 6:45. I'm not sure when her game starts. I decide to wake her. I start gently kissing her temple. She moans at me. I laugh.

"What time does your game start?" I ask gently. I have heard how scary she can be in the morning.

"Well, its a tournament so like, 9-ish." She says. She is definitely still half asleep.

"You never said it was a tournament."

"Ya I did" she starts to lift her head.

"Nuh, uh"

"Ya"

"No"

"Whatever." She says. She grabs the pillow from under my head and smacks me with it.

"Hey!" I start to tickle her. She giggles. I can't help but laugh as she squirms away from me.

"Alright that's enough." Allie tries to say sternly. She sits all the way up and hops on my lap. I can't help but sit up too.

She puts her forehead on mine and looks I to my eyes. I put my hands on her waist.

"Get cha, get cha, get cha, head in the game." She says uncontrollably laughing. She pecks me on the nose and hops off my bed. She heads to the window and grabs her clothes. She opens my bathroom door and winks at me as she heads inside to get ready. I just laugh to myself.

Thank god I lived in the basement. Its only a two roomed house and when my little brother was born I was banished to the basement.

When Allie is finally done in the bathroom she comes out, already in her uniform. Her hair is in a sloppy bun and she doesn't have any make up on. Why would she? She going to softball, not prom.

"Mase, I'm gonna meet you around the corner. We have to pick up some friends." She kisses me good bye and climbs out the window. Quickly, she is lost I'm the distance. I quickly through on a T-shirt and some jeans.

When I walk upstairs my mom and little brother, Tony, are eating breakfast. I silently put on shoes and open the door. Just as I'm about to close it my mom calls me back in.

"And where do you think you're going?" She asks.

"Uh, over to Cameron's." I lie.

"Be back by 11." She says and shoos me with her hand. A sigh of relief escapes and I slip out the door. And head to find Allie.

Allie was parked down the street. I hop in and she takes off immediately.

After we pick everyone up we head to the ball field. Cassy and Moe were playing. The rest of Allie's friends were in the stands with Allie's mom. All the guys were sitting in the shade on the 1rst base side.

The game starts and Allie is first batter. She fouls it a few times and then has a gorgeous hit to the fence in right field. She scores a triple. The very next pitch she does a perfect delayed steal. That's my girl. Only 2 pitches in the game and already scored a run.

"Hey Man, we have awile until anyone we know are up. Moe and Cassy are at the end of the line up." Jake says. I nod and begin to talk to the group.

"So you guys are official right?" Aiden asks.

"Ya. God, she surprises me everyday. She showed up at my window last night. Of course I let her in and then-" I start. Jupiter cuts me off.

"Hey! Spare me the details! Shes like my sister." Jupiter says. We all laugh and I start to explain.

"We didn't do anything. We just slept."

"Sure you did." Cameron says.

"Oh please, he's the shyest out of all of us. I wouldn't doubt it." Aiden jokes.

"But anyways, yes, we are official. I'm meeting her family tonight... I have no idea what I'm gonna do." I say frightened.

"Man, be careful of her dad. That guy would tear you to peices. He said he'd kill me. I WAS 12." Jupiter says. His eyes wide with caution. Hes only making it worse.

"Oh, shut up Jupiter. Mason, just be yourself." We all turn around to see the voice belonged to Logan.

"Dude! You hang out with Bree and Ella too much!" Aiden yells. We all burst with laughter. Logan turns beet red.

"Wait guys, Moe is up. And by the way, where is Ross? I thought he said he was coming up here this weekend." Cameron points out.

"He said his term paper was due tomorrow so he couldn't make it. He makes college seem scary." Jake says.

"Its not so bad." Logan says as he sits down next to me. I always forget Ross and Logan are a year older than us.

When I look back over at the game, I see Moe has a full count. The ball is released from the pitchers hand and Moe squares around to bunt. I'm pretty sure if she fouls it, she out.

But she didn't. The ball rolls half way in between the pitcher and catcher. A grin appeared on Moe's face as she sprints to first. The call is thrown, but Moe was safe by a long shot.

We all cheer her on.

Cassy is up next. Aiden encouragely  scrams her name.

I watch her intently. She hits a solid line drive on the second pitch. The ball flies right into the shortstop. But Cassy doesn't care. She keeps running. By the time Cassy is on second, Moe is already home.

The whole team gathers around the shortstop. Luckily, they aren't paying attention. Plus, they never called time. Cassy may as well had skipped across home.

"I don't feel bad, she should have used her mitt. And it couldn't have hurt. She was wearing a face mask." I hear Cassy say. I laugh to my self. God, she ruthless.

Nothing exciting happens after that. The game is over and Logan takes everyone home. Leaving me and Allie alone in the car. We start heading back to her house.

"Is your real dad gonna be there?" I ask. Concern is probably obvious. Allie just laughs.

"Gods, no. He is definitely not alowed to meet you. Well, yet."

"Thank god." I feel a lot better. I reach for Allie's hand and don't let go until we pull up to her house. Fear washes over me.
