Super excited for this chapter. You will understand later...
Enjoy! When we get out of the car and unlock the yurt, the commotion and shouting was almost too much for me and Allie. People always say I'm shy until I get to know you better, well I don't really know any of these people.
"Do you want to go to the beach?" I ask turning to Allie. She looks up into my eyes.
"Ya let's go. This is too much. Can we just sneak away? I don't want everyone else to come." She says. I just simply nod.
I stick my hands and my pockets and we start walking down the street. Its probably going to get really cold tonight.
"Are you ok?" Allie asks me. I just look at her.
"Ya I'm good. Are you?"
"Ya just a little tired."
"Already? Don't tell Cassy I think she has a lot of plans for tonight. Aaron too."
"Ya. Meh." She pulls me hand out of her pocket and rubs it with her own. I smile at her. She than raises my hands to her mouth and kisses my knuckles. "Love you."
A huge grin crosses my face.
"I love you too. Alright let's go."
When we get to the beach its surprisingly warm.
The sun is about to set. It is the perfect scene for a painting.
"It's so pretty." I say. Allie looks up at me, her eyes shining.
"Its like a dream. You know I actually had this dream. I remember talking to Cassy about it in 7th grade. A sunset. An amazing boyfriend. I remember telling her that---"
"Talking about me?!" I jump a little and whip my head around. I see Cassy and Aaron holding hands and smiling brightly.
"How did you sneak away?" Aaron asks me slapping me on the back. I have been friends with Aaron for a long time. He was the first person I told about Allie.
"It was actually really easy. We just kinda left. Took you longer than we expected." I explain.
"So what were you guys talking about?" Cassy asks. Shes right. I would have liked to know what Allie was gonna say. Sometimes Cassy and Aaron have really annoying timing.
"Last time we were here when we were talking about being on the beach and stuff." Allie laughs and squeezes my hand.
"Oh ya. I remember. This is actually exactly what we were talking about." Cassy winks at me and Allie. "Good luck then Mason."
Allie snorts and pulls me towards he water.
"Allie, its November." I laugh. She sits down and starts pulling off her shoes.
"No shit sherlock. I'm just gonna put my feet in. Come on." I roll my eyes and take off my shoes.
I watch as Allie puts her toes in the water.
Almost just as quickly her feet are in the water, they are out and bouncing up and down.
"WHY IS IT SO COLD?" Allie squels. I laugh.
"I told you it would be cold."
"Ya, and I just wanted to prove you wrong. You're always right." Allie says while punching me on the arm.
"Yes, and you are always wrong. See? It works out perfectly." I said.
Cassie and Aaron were a little ways done the Beach. They were walking with there toes in the water they were holding each others hands. They looked in love and it was weird.
Aaron is kind of a player so seeing him actually date someone, its different. In a good way I think.
"Cute huh?" Allie asks also staring off on the distance at the young couple. She reaches up on her tippy toes to kiss my cheek. I pull her side into my chest.
"Not as cute as you... Wait no. I can't say that." I just laugh and Allie punches me in the arm. Once again. "I'm just kidding, god. You know I love you." Allie smiles and throws her arms around my neck.
"And..." She pauses and kisses one side of my mouth. "Love.." And kisses the other side. "You..." Allie tries to kiss the other side again but I catch her lips. She pulls away and smiles. "Too."
"Eww. Mushy lovey dovey stuff. Please stop before I puke."
To be continued...
