"Allie! Mason! Wait up!" I glance at Mason as I turn my head. I see Moe and Ross running down the hall. We all smile.

"Ross, I thought you were at school." Mason says.

"Ya, I decided to visit home. Come and see everyone."

"Awesome. So what's up?" I ask Moe

"My parents are going to Japan so I wanted to know if I could stay with you? I'm sure my parents didn't want me to stay with Ross. And I don't want Kammi to find out. It would be awkward."

"Ya that's fine. How long?"

"A month. My dad is doing some teaching thing. Shai wanted to go because, well, its Japan."

"Ok. We can stop by your house tonight to get your stuff."

Moe nods and we head off to my car. I love my baby. She's a '67 impala. If I wanted to find one now, it would be hundreds of thousands of dollars. Especially one in this good of shape. Anyways, my dad found it at my grandpas old house. He died when I was little, but apparently the var was locked in a shed. On it was a note that said it was left to me. When he died I was the only grandchild.

Ross and Moe hop in back and Mason sits next to me up front. I'm not sure how he did it but he got to drive. I grab his hand and smile. I love the feeling of his hands. They are callused at the tips and the rest is soft. I remember when he first started the trumpet. He was instantly amazing. We would always be pared up as duets. I was the best bass and he was the best trumpet.

We decided to go to the park. We stopped by my house earlier to grab thing fora picnic so we are set and loaded. I know we should invite everyone else but we can have a little double date first.

"What about over there?" I asks everyone and point to a big apple tree.

"Alright. I'm in."

Once we are all settled, we go to the play structure. There is a little slide and some monkey bars. There is also 4 swings. But there were some little kids on the swings so we stay away. There is some statue thing too. It almost looks like a chicken. I climb up on a hanging ledge on the statue. Mason comes and stand right in front of me. He puts his hand around my waist. For one of the first times, I can see into his eyes. They are a pretty brown. For a long time I have been the tallest in our friend group. Mason is the only person to ever make me feel short.

"So, what are you doing tomorrow?" He asks. I avoid his question.

"They are so cute." I look over at Moe and Ross. They were playing on the swings. The kids that were there, are now gone. It wouldn't surprise me if Ross tried to give them candy.

"Why did you avoid my question? Afraid of small talk?" Mason looks me on the eyes and smiles. He kisses my nose.

"I love it when you do that." I smile wide.

"Your still avoiding it." He kisses my nose again. I sigh.

"My sister is in town."

"One, i didn't know you had a sister. And two, why is that a bad thing?"

"My friends didn't even know. I didn't know until a few years ago. Apparently my dad donated sperm when he was like 16. He didn't remember because he was hammered but.... Anyways she's a few years older then us and she is a player. She hits on Jupiter all the time. " I say. Mason bursts out laughing.

"I'm not gonna fall for your sister. I love you." He said it. He said it. Oh my god. He said it. He kisses my nose and I know I'm instantly red.

"I... I... Oh my god. I can't find words." I studder. Mason keeps a gentle smile though.

"You don't have to say it. You saying it doesn't mean anything to me. I know you love me. And no matter what you say. I love you." I start to kiss him. His gentle lips on mine. His hands moving to the back of my head. I pull away.

"I love you." He smiles the biggest smile I have ever seen. I lean my for head and faze into his eyes.

"Aww how adorable!" Ross yells. He slaps his hand on Masons back and I jump. I fucking fall off the statue. Moe comes out and laughs at us. Mason helps me up and I punch Ross's arm.

"OH MY GOD. YOU FUCKING SCARED ME." I  scream at them but they continue to laugh at me.
