I was the last one in the car. Allie had dropped every one off. I lived closest to Allie so we decided that would be easiest.

Allie gets back in the car. She went to see Cassy's parents and say hi, leaving me awkwardly alone in the car. It was nice to have time to think.

"Alrightly, which way do I go?" Allie asks smiling at me.

"Um, that way." I point. She nodds and starts the engine. "I was wondering..." I start.

"What?" Allie asks. Her eyes focused on the road.

"If we would, could, be a couple... Like have you ever considered it?" I say. I finally got it off my chest. The car slows down as she already pulls up to my house. She looks at me. I couldn't read her expression. It was too dark.

I open my mouth as if to say something. I stop and open my door.

"Silence speaks more than words." I say walking up to the door of my house. I go in and slam the door behind me. I toss my bag to the side and stomp to my room. I take of my shirt and put on some pajama pants. I crawl into my bed and pull on the covers. I soon fall asleep wishing I could take back my actions.
