Overcoming her fears

Chapter 6- What more could someone want?

Jem's Pov:

I'd just found out that I'd had a brother and sister, in which I've never known about before. And here I am with my long lost brother Jeremiah. I should be happy that I have part of my past back, but there's just on thing. I'm missing my only sister, Laila.

"Jeremiah. If your here right now, then where is Laila?" I asked. He opened his mouth to answer, but he closed it right after. And silence filled the air, then Markus broke it.

"She's unavailable right now." He answered.

"What the hell does that mean? I wanna see my sister." I said raising my voice.

"She left Jem. I didn't want to have to say this yet, but she left us." Jeremiah said. I stared at him in confusion, then he continued. "You see Jem, on your third birthday. We received an anonymous note saying that people we're after us, and would kill anyone just to get what they wanted. Our parents first thought was our safety, in which they separated all of us to different places. To far away from the other siblings.

When they meant to send us away from each other, I ended up going with Laila. Because at the time her powers we're unstable, and I knew how to control them. But the only catch was when we we're sent away we wouldn't remember our parents or anything from our past, and all we would know was those people who took us in we're our real parents. Years after spending time with our new family, one day she just dissapeared. She was gone, without a single trace." He said.

I could feel reality hitting me hard. It was like a blow to the gut, knocking the air out of me. She foretold this. The Moon Goddess. She told me that those people weren't my true parents. All those things I went though, with my fake mother and the abuse she did to me. It hurt. It really did. Thinking that the people who raised me hated me with all their might.

"So everything that happened to me with my fake parents, wasn't real?" I asked. He slowly nodded his head, and looked at me with pitty in his eyes. "Are they still alive?"

"Their alive, but we're still in danger Jem." He said.

"Why? What is it those people want! They separated my family, making me suffer almost all my life. What more could they want, because they're pretty damn good at ruining people's lives?!" I yelled. He looked phased by my tone, in which making him take a step back. Not wanting to get on my bad side.

"They want our powers, in which are very powerful. They want to wipe out our kind, because they think it's not right for us to hold this much power. They want it all for themselves. The greedy bastards would end up killing themselves in the process, because we are the only people that can wield it." I clenched my fists, and kept my head down. Letting my bangs fall over my eyes.

Then suddenly I felt something pass over me, and a growl come from me. I was a little confused for a moment, and then I heard her voice.

'I'm back Jem!' She exclaimed.

'Silver? Is that you?!' I asked in disbelief.

'Yeah! I was called back to your body because of your emotions. That's what controls your powers Jem. And I fought so hard to return back to you Jem, I really did miss you.'

'Aww. I missed you too Silver, and it feels good to be a werewolf again. I never thought I'd miss being a big hairy wolf.'

'Well get use to it, because I'm never leaving your side again. And by the way Jem, let me take over when we get back to the palace. I've got a few things to say to that Devin person, I did not like being locked up in a tight space! It ruined our beautiful fur!' This made me laugh.

'Yeah sure, but for now. Bye Silver.'

'Bye 'Chosen One'.' Then the connection was cut off.

Yessssssssss! Silver is back in action! I really did miss her, because Silver is freaking awesome in this story. Don't you guys agree? Anyways;
