Elle's POV:

Ah. Talking about my sweet Markus, takes me back to the good old days, when we were both still in contact with each other.

I never did love another, after him. He forever will have my heart, and if he wasn't just pulling my chain way back when, then I will forever have his.

"Do tell me how he was, my dear. Did he seem alright?" I asked eagerly. Wanting to know as much as I could about him. I hadn't seen him in centuries. Though, I'm sure he didn't look the age he really was. He never did look a day over twenty-two.

"Last I saw him, he was still up to no good." I laughed.

"That's my Markus. May he forever have his happiness, with those kind people..."

Ava's POV:

Dammit! I thought angrily. I forgot that the old bat's domain was around this area! That's why I've lost sight of freaking Jem!

Elle was a powerful magic user. Known by most of us supernatural creatures, for her spells.

Her domain in this forest, was something feared evil all beings, because of its cleansing ability. It would scorch them in pure light energy, and if they weren't a higher level being of darkness, they'd be killed. Others, who were stronger, would be greatly weakened in both physical strength and magic power. If they still didn't leave immediately after being drained, she'd personally deal with them.

And because my abilities, could be considered evil ones. If I were to try and step in, I'd be considered a dead woman.

"Devin! Amanda! Get your asses over here this instant!" I yelled, at the top of my lungs. And a few seconds later, there in front of me they appeared.

"My goodness Ava. No need to get your panties in a wad." Comment Devin, very amused with the situation. He must've been watching me struggle. Bastard. I thought, clenching my teeth together.

"Such foul language!" Mumbled Amanda, sending a glare my way.

"I have zero patience, and you both know that. Get Jem from Elle's domain for me this instant!" I ordered.

"Careful hot head. Wouldn't what your hair to catch on fire, and have you burn down another defenceless forest." This man really wanted me to kill him, didn't he?

"Do you really want me to repeat myself? Cause if I wasn't loud enough the first time, I'll say it again."

"We really need to work on your temper."

Jem's POV:

"Wait wait wait! He said what now?!" I asked Elle, on the verge of crying from all the laugher I'd just done.

"He said: Oh my beloved Elle. What would I do without you? I can't stand the thought of being without you, for even a second. I'd just die, if I'd have to live, without you right by my side!" Elle told her, being as dramatic as she possibility could.

"Markus actually said that??"

"But of course darling. Would I ever lie to you?"

"I don't think you would."

"I have no reason to. I'm nearly 18 centuries old, and am burning daylight as we speak. I could drop dead any moment, my dear. So why spend what could be my last moments lying?"

Elle was just amazing. I enjoyed her presence so much. Just thinking about how she was connected to my parents as their friends, made me wonder if they were just like she is right now.

"Something on your mind dear?" Questioned Elle, pulling me back from my thoughts into reality.

"Just my parents," I responded, giving her a weak smile.

"What about them?" She asked curiously, moving over closer to where I was.

"I wonder what they're like. It's been years since I've seen them, or even known about them. I wonder what they sound like now. I wonder honestly if they still remember me."

Elle then put her hand on my shoulder. "Jem, I don't think it's even possible for them to forget such a sweet thing like you. You were their youngest daughter. The baby, of the group of three. And you always will be their baby Jem."

I felt tears start up, at the brim of my eyes. "Thank you Elle."

"It's no problem dear-."

"Jem!!"

Both me and Elle turned our heads quickly, in the direction of the voice we'd just heard. Did I just hear that right? I questioned myself, not sure exactly if I'd heard it correctly. I may be crazy. But wasn't that-.

"Jem!!"

I shot up onto my feet. I'd heard correctly. There was no mistaking it. I'd know that voice anywhere.

The tears I was holding back just a few seconds ago were now running down my face. I didn't care how ridiculous I may have looked as I cried. My emotions were running wild right now. It felt like my heart was beating out of my chest, by how loud it sounded in my ears.

I struggled to let it the word loose, for a moment. Unsure, to even myself, if I was even going to say it right. And with quivering lips, I whispered to myself to the name of the man, who I loved with all my heart. "Richard."
