I had just signed the papers for my new apartment. I still hadn't told Tre i was pregnant. Im still unsure if i should even tell him. My apartment was 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms on the 4th floor. Ive applied for a job at a Nursing home, and they'd called and said i could start the following Monday. I still had money from Tre.

This time I was really done with Tre. Jayla told me that her cousin was fucking with Tre while we were still together. Honestly I was hurt. He mentally abused me, He also physically abused me. You don't hit the ones you love. While I was with him I hadn't talked to my family in the 2 years we'd been together. Today i wanted to call my mother and inform her about her new grandchild.

"Hello?" Jackie says

"Hey, momma this is Genesis..."

"Hey baby, I've missed you so much. Im so glad you decided to call."

"Yea momma i missed you too, I'm sorry for not calling or coming to see you." I say beginning to cry. "Im calling to tell you, you're gonna have a grandbaby in a couple months."

"Congratulations baby, I know Trevonte is very excited."

"Yeah, Im going to call you back momma. I love you."

"I love you too. Be careful baby. Please come see me."

"I will momma."

"oh and call your brother too."

"okay."

I couldn't even lie to myself an say I didn't miss my brother Galeno because I definitely did. We fell out because he told me Trevante was no good but I didn't fucking listen. I let a man take me from my family.

Backstory (How they met) 3 years ago

"GALENO!!! " I said hollering out the front door

"I gotta go do something."

"Lemme go with you."

"alright come on."

I get in the passenger seat and got on my phone. I was 16 at the time and Galeno was 2 years older then me. I aint have no car so every chance i got to get out the house I did. We pulled up to a trap house.

"What the fuck is this?"

"Work."

"G you aint tell me you was fucking going to a trap house! I'm telling momma"

"Chill out Gen."

A tall dude walks outside and taps on my window. I look at him like he was crazy then i looked at G.

"Dats my nigga chill out." He says rolling my window down.

"Aye wassup nigga." the dude says
