Malik (That Night)
I kissed Genesis's cheek, and left the apartment. I had to handle business. Did Tre really think he'd disrespect my woman and get away with it?
I knew where he lived from Genesis's phone.

Once I arrived at his house I zipped up my hoodie, put on my mask, and prepared myself to go kick this nigga ass.

I walk to the front door. And kicked that bitch in.
I went to his room he was sitting in that bitch looking so startled. I grabbed him out the bed before he could reach for his gun on his nightstand and threw him into the wall. He got a few punches in but all I could think about is how my baby looked in that bathroom explaining what he'd did to her. It's been times where she'd jump thinking I was about to hit her. No woman should have to go through that. I punched him in his jaw twice. I continued to punch him until he was almost unconscious. I let his body hit the ground. I called 911 on his phone before I left.

"I would let you die, but I want my son to at least know his biological father." I say before kicking him leaving him bleeding and coughing up blood.

"SO WHERE THE FUCK WERE YOU MALIK?"

"Handling business."Malik says pulling out the leftover cake from the baby shower.

"No you were handling a bitch."
"But I ain't even tripping. Fuck you get yo shit and go." I say waddling my pregnant ass to our closet.

"Here we go." He says following behind me

"I'm. Sick. Of. Being. Played. With." I say as I'm snatching his clothes off each hanger

"I wasn't with no other bitch. So chill out."

"Well you weren't selling drugs with Terrance so what else was you doing at 3am?"

"How you know I wasn't with Terrance?"

"I went to the trap."

"Why the fuck were you there?" He says coming closer to me

"Because I was wondering where the hell you were at."

"I don't want your dumb ass there anymore. Do you know how many men could of just snatched you up? And did only god knows what?"
"And if I say I wasn't with another bitch, and that I was handling business than that's what I was doing. I ain't gonna lie if I was cheating." He says beginning to walk out the closet.

I was so pissed off at him. I grabbed the first thing I could reach and threw it at him. I threw one of his Jordan's and it hit him in the head.
He held his head and turned around and looked at me
"Are you fucking serious?"
"Do I put my fucking hands on you?" he says coming closer into my face

"No, but you a cheating ass nigga." I spat
"And when I see Brittany ima beat her ass cause she know we together. I don't give a fuck if I'm pregnant or not." I say pushing him, and pointing my finger in his face

"Yo pregnant ass ain't doing shit."

"You'll see. I'm deadass about you leaving. Maybe we need to take a break and fuck with other people."

"Other people? That's what you on?"

"I mean you could be possibly fucking with other bitches."

"Genesis I ain't fucking with other bitches."

"Well I ain't giving you pussy, so who is?"

"I ain't giving you dick, so who is?"

I roll my eyes "Just tell me what the fuck you did last night."

He sighs.
"Sit down Genesis."
I do as told
"I honestly think what you don't know can't hurt you."

"So whatever you did last night is gonna hurt me?"

"I mean I'm not sure."

"Well just tell me. And stop playing with my emotions."

"Umm I went to Tre's house..."
"And beat his ass."

I was silent. I'm not exactly sure how to feel.
"D-Did you kill him?"

"Nah, I called 911 right before I left."

"Does he know it was you?"

"Probably..."
"But I don't care."

"I care Malik..."
"Trevonte definitely ain't no snitch. So he's gonna want revenge. And it's gonna end with one of y'all dying. And I don't want that."

He sighs
"Honestly, it's war over mine..."
"He should've never came to our babyshower on some bullshit."
"Oh yea and Chloe ain't yo friend baby."

"I know, she did some foul shit yesterday. I'd never thought she'd do something like that."

"It be like that sometimes."

"Yeaa..."
"Thank you for not cheating on me."
"Just be honest with me. That's the only way a relationship will last."

"I'm sorry baby. Only reason I ain't tell you is because I knew you wouldn't let me go."

"I'm scared Malik... I don't wanna ever lose you."

"Baby it's gonna be okay."

"Promise you'll never leave Malik." I say beginning to tear up
"I couldn't imagine life without you. I was in a bad place when I met you and you turned my life around for the better in 6 months."

"I promise. I really really love you."

"I love you too."
I say kissing him passionately.
