In the Beginning.

Thanksgiving
November 23
We woke up fairly early to get ready for the thanksgiving dinners we had to attend.
This would be the first time since the hospital that my family has seen ZenZen.
I was really excited about seeing my family. But I was kinda bummed about being away from Malik. We hadnt been away from each other since the night my water broke.
I dunno what we're gonna do next year because Malik will be playing football.

"I'm gonna miss you so muchhh." I say wrapped in Malik's arms.

"Ima miss my babies too." He says breaking the embrace grabbing ZenZen out his car seat.
"Especially my fat man." Malik says kissing ZenZen's cheeks.

I poke my bottom lip out "what about me?"

"You know ima miss you too mama's" He says putting zen back in his car seat and strapping him in.

"I love you baby be safe,And tell your family I'm sorry I couldn't make it and I love them very much." I say kissing his cheek walking to the driver side.

"Tell your family the same." He says kissing me through the car window and hopping into his car.

The drive to my moms house wasn't too long about 25 to 30 minutes. Luckily Zen slept the whole car ride, he actually loves car rides.

Once I pulled up I noticed my brothers car, my moms, and my aunts. And the front door was wide open. I grabbed Zen and his diaper bag and began walking to the front door. I walked straight in since you know it was my moms house.

"Hey y'all." I say sitting the diaper bag down beside the couch.

"Heyyy babyyyy." My aunt says running over from the kitchen immediately hugging and kissing me.

"Hey aunt Mag! I missed you so much."

"Yea I missed you too baby. Haven't seen you in forever you have a whole baby now." She says rubbing Zen's cheeks

"Yea, I know right."

"Your grandpa is in the dining room I'm sure he'd love to see the baby."

I greet my brother and hug my mother on the way to the dining room.
"Hey papa it's Genesis."

"Hey Genesis." He says holding my hand.

"Papa I got somebody I want you too meet."

"Who? Yo little boyfriend?"

"Oh daddy hush. It's yo great grandson." Aunt mag says slapping Papas shoulder softly

"Great grandson? Gen you had a baby?"

"Yes papa. Wanna hold him?"

"Noooo... it's like when I hold a baby I end up with another one."

We all burst out in laughter. My papa was quiet the jokester he kept a room full of people laughing.

"Here papa." I say fixing his hands to hold Zen.
I carefully place A sleeping Zen in his hands.
"See papa you doing a great job." I say smiling at him.

"Go get my glasses so I can see him."
Doing as told aunt mag handed him his glasses.
"Oh he's a handsome fella. What's his name?"

"Zenith."

"Lordy he gotta ugly name." He says shaking his head

"Papa you don't like his name?"

"Hell no. People ain't gonna know how to say that. Should've named him after me."

"I did. He's got your Intials papa."

"Forreal?"

"Yes, Zenith Jaeden Taylor."
