Elliot

Elliot in all his seventeen years of life, never thought he'd end being human trafficked. He remembered the day it happened as if it was yesterday; when in reality it must have weeks, months. Two years prior, his family both his parents and his sister had died in a car accident that left Elliot the sole survivor. With no family left, Elliot was thrown into foster care but that part of his life, Elliot never spoke about. On his seventeenth birthday, he could take no more and decided he'd take his chances on the street— and well, look where that got him now.

Elliot was cuddled into Laya's side, her head resting on his shoulder. Elliot ran a hand through his unruly blonde curls and squeezed his blue eyes closed. In the darkness, he could barely make out anyone but he knew at least twenty other people were here, feeling just as terrified as he was. Elliot looked down at the hand he never stopped holding and tapped Laya on her shoulder, the girl lifted her head to stare at him and Elliot couldn't help but think she was the most beautiful girl ever and despite everything was happy he'd met her.

Elliot has always been observant, smart, it was one of the reasons he was such a genius with computers and with his high IQ he could easily pick up when something was amiss. The guards who normally fed them were holding their rifles in their hands and running around like lost children except their expressions showed fear.
"Something's wrong...." the distress in his voice seemed to shake Laya awake.
"What? What do you mean?" she asked.
"The guards are scattered and they're each holding their rifles— you know they don't do that unless they're doing an inspection but no cell was opened."
Laya suddenly gasped suddenly when gun shots were heard and she gripped Elliot's hand tightly making Elliot freeze on command.

"What?" Elliot gasped, what the hell was happening.
"It's the police it has to be!" Laya said in a hushed whisper.
Elliot wasn't so optimistic, but he didn't say anything as Laya's whole body language perked up, he could sense everyone in the room on alert, eager to be saved but Elliot only pulled his lips into a thin line, he couldn't get his hopes up now, not when he'd have to be strong for Laya, sure he was younger but they depended on each other equally.
"C'mon lets go to the front!" Laya said quickly.

Elliot grabbed her hand, "Laya! These people— you don't know if they're good. They could come in here and kill us all and I don't want us hurt!"
Laya gave him a look before nodding, "Let's stay invisible, okay." Elliot said calmly.
Laya sank back into him and squeezed his hand reassuringly as the gunshots continued from outside. Suddenly a loud bang was heard and several  footsteps until a group of men were standing in front of them.

Definitely not law enforcement, Elliot thought suddenly terrified about what these new intruders would do. There were screams of panic from their cell mates before one of the men towards the front ripped off his face mask, "It's alright." His deep baritone echoed, "We aren't here to hurt you, while we are not the police, we have informed them anonymously of your location and they should be here shortly."

As Elliot took a look at this man, he gulped, the man was in fact handsome as hell. His blue eyes going over their faces in a strange manner. He was standing beside three others who had taken the front. In turn they all took off masks and Elliot could only stare at their beauty, obviously related— brothers perhaps? Elliot took his time examining their faces.
"Who are they?" He heard Laya ask.
He had no idea but soon his eyes travelled to the man next to the one who had spoken.

Elliot visibly gasped, he was simply gorgeous. Emerald green eyes that were also surveying the cells, he was broad and tall— at least 6'4. His jaw strong and defined and under that suit Elliot knew there were rippling muscles. Elliot caught sight of the man on the either side of him and realized he was his twin, identical but he could easily tell the difference, suddenly realized he'd been staring for too long to be healthy he looked down at Laya to see her eyes glued onto him as well.

He connected the dots in his head pretty quickly and as he took his eyes off Laya to return his attention back to their savior they both seemed to infatuated with. His savior's eyes widened as he connected to theirs. Elliot knew he let out a short gasp that made Laya look up at him.
"You saw him too, didn't you?" She asked.
Elliot nodded, all words suddenly evaporated.
He felt Laya squeeze his hand when he suddenly ordered everyone back so he could open the cell.

As the cell was popped open, everyone went on a rampage pushing and shoving to get out and unfortunately both Laya and himself were caught in the crosshairs as they were both sitting down. Elliot whimpered slightly as they stomped over him and he could only yank Laya closer as she whimpered as well.
"Hey!" Another voice bellowed but Elliot didn't dare open his eyes.
Suddenly he felt a soft hand on his cheek and immediately opened his eyes to see emerald ones.

He gasped quickly at the beauty of the man before him who had his other hand on Laya's cheek spoke.
"Are you hurt?" He asked, his voice hinting an accent.
"Can you both walk?" Elliot looked at Laya who was nodding.
He helped them both up and seemed to be staring in wonder at the two of them. His stares did nothing but make Elliot more infatuated with him.
"Who are you guys?" Laya asked quietly.

"My brother's and I run an organization." He said quietly.
Elliot pursed his lips, "A gang?" He muttered quickly, instantly regretting it as the man looked at him with surprise.
"Something like that."
Elliot was about to say something else but Laya cut him off, "What's your name?"
He smiled lightly at her and for some reason, even if the smile wasn't directed at him, it lit up his world, "Alessando"

Alessando... Elliot ran it over in his head, such a sexy name fitting for a man like him.
"Do you two want to tell me yours?" He said before he grabbed a blanket and draped it over his and Laya's shoulders.
"Elliot,"
"Laya," they both said at the same time.
Elliot watched the man smirk at him before looking over his shoulder at his brothers who were looking at him with expressions Elliot couldn't recognize.

Alessando excused himself and as soon as he was gone Elliot felt weird as if he needed him here like how he needed Laya beside him.
"This is weird." Laya said quietly.
Elliot nodded as he looked over to where Alessando was standing, his back was to him but Elliot wished you could see his face. He saw all three of his brothers look at him and Laya and he frowned.
"They're talking about us." Laya said quietly.

Suddenly the man who had spoken first opened his mouth again, "The police are almost here, don't worry you'll get home to your families but this is where we leave you."
Elliot suddenly felt worried, no they couldn't leave! They couldn't take Alessando with them!
Laya seemed to have the same sentiments because she looked at him with distress, but Elliot came to his senses quicker, "We don't know them Laya!" Elliot said anticipating her question.

"But you felt it too!" She sulked, "I know you did!"
Elliot knew what she was referring too but he wouldn't dwell on it, Alessando didn't want them. He lowered his head when he saw the men leaving and Alessando hadn't even returned to tell them goodbye.
"Why would he just leave!" Laya screamed.
"Take us with you!" She screamed so loud Elliot knew Alessando had heard.
He saw his body stiffened at her cry but it didn't stop him from walking away.
