Alessando

Initially, he hadn't wanted either of them to meet Malia. She had been the only woman in all his rendezvous that he kept going back too. The one night stand that had lasted more than one night. He would have been lying if he said he didn't have second thoughts about his feelings for her but at the time his head was foggy but now it was clear and the only people he had feelings for were sitting beside him impatiently waiting to get out of the car.

Alessando looked at Arturo who had his head in his phone most likely texting Dallas who had stayed behind at the compound and he chuckled when he saw his twin burst into a smile. Life for them had changed when Greece stepped foot onto the compound, then Dallas and now his little angels who were seemingly agitated and he shook his head at their expressions.

Alessando's thoughts suddenly drifted to the threats Romani had been spewing ever since he'd found out about his and Malia's affair. His threats against Alessando had been nothing but a joke to him, surely the 'I'll kill you for what you did,' line was getting old but then information had somehow slipped that Alessando had his two angels staying with him and Romano's threats had changed. Threatening him was one thing but Laya and Elliot that was different.
He took that very seriously.

Some of his men who were performing the sweep gave the okay to come out and Alessando gestured for them to exit.
"Finally." Elliot exclaimed and Alessando watched in amusement as they dramatically exited the car for fresh air.
Alessando led them towards the front desk where the clerk nodded at him before he walked straight towards the elevator. Laya was shoulder to shoulder with him and he smiled when he felt her slip her hand in his.

Exiting the door as it slid open Elliot floated to his other side and entwined their hands as well. Having both of them beside him made Alessando swell as Arturo unlocked the door and they entered the room. It was a regular suite, a large queen size bed, ensuite bathroom and refrigerator with a hand table. Alessando scanned the room before locating Malia in the exact position he'd left her when he'd been here before.

The woman was covered by blankets but seemingly looked better than the last time. Her blonde hair flanked both sides of her thin face, covering the healing bruises on her cheeks. Her blue eyes once puffy had gone down and were now wide awake and staring what seemed to be daggers at both Laya and Elliot.
"Alé" she croaked out.
"I missed you." Alessando cringed at the words not knowing what neither Lay or Elle were thinking.

"I didn't know you were bringing guests!"
Alessando stopped a few feet away from her bed and as if they had planned it, both Elliot and Laya stood in front of him.
"Malia, this is Laya and Elliot."
Malia only hummed at him, "Pleasure."
"I wished we could have met under better circumstances but," she coughed a little, her hand to her chest.
She fluttered her eyelashes at him but Alessando only ignored it.

"I'm Malia, and you are?" She asked them.
"My name is Laya."
"Elliot."
She hummed again, her eyes suddenly lifted to meet his, "I've been in so much pain since the last time." She crooned, "I don't know if the doctor put my bandages on correctly."
Stiffly, she lifted herself up and rolled down her blankets so they could see the bandages covering her chest.

Alessando was about to respond but Elliot beat him too it, "Looks fine to me." his arms folded across his chest.
Malia gave him an appraising look before smirking, "Alé, are these the people in your life you were talking about?"
Again Alessando was beat to punch when Laya but in, "Yes and."
Alessando watched as the three of him seemed to sizing each other up, granted Malia was bed ridden.

Malia seemed to give them one last appraisal before sinking back down into her bed.
"Thanks for stopping by but I'll need to speak to Alé now." She directed the statement to Laya and Elliot.
"Alone."
Alessando swore he saw Laya's fist clench but didn't comment as he only shook his head, "Malia what could be so important for you to tell me that they need to leave."

Malia seemed to frown but hid it well before speaking, her voice feigning innocence, "Its personal." She sighed, "I could never tell strangers something so intimate."
Alessando sighed growing annoyed, "Would you two excuse us a moment I'll be out soon."
Without a word both of them exited the room and Alessando looked her expectantly.
"So you've replaced me?" Her question came as a surprise to him.

"Were the nights we spent together not special enough?" She asked tentatively.
He shook his head, "This is not what I came here for. I don't want to have this conversation with you."
He heard her scoff, "What! are you scared?"
He shook his head, "Of?" He looked at her perplexed.
"You can't tell me after all those weeks that you felt nothing for me."

He wouldn't lie, there had been something but it had disappeared as soon as Laya and Elliot walked into his life.
"My feelings for you are nothing but as friends love each other Malia."
She frowned, "And what? Those— those children hold your affection?" She said it mockingly.
He narrowed his eyes, he didn't like that she referred to them as children, "Yes, they do."

He shook his head, "I'll call the doctor to see about your bandages."
He turned his back to her, "You know, I would have left Romani for you if you'd asked."
"But I never asked." He said dryly before walking out of the room.
