no particular person point of view
They stood outside Alessando's room at the infirmary, nervously fiddling with their fingers. It had been six weeks since they'd seen him and to say they were nervous would be an understatement. Romani had been killed three days ago and in those three days, Laya had settled down and whether she wanted to or not, she'd become a different person and there was no going back. She'd been thankful though, there had been no judgement from her family as her quench for revenge had been satisfied; the only question she had now was when would she be able to visit Malia. Allegro though, wouldn't tell her the location.
But as they stood in front of the door, Elliot could feel his heart beating out of the chest, pressing against his ribs. How would Alessando react? Would he send them away? Would he hate them? Did he even still have feelings for them? All this and more flew around in Elliot's head as he and Laya refused to open the door. They gave each other a look silently asking each other which of them was going to do it.
Laya had been waiting for this for so long and as the opportunity stood right in front of her, she was scared to take it. All she could think about was the expression on his face as they told him they didn't love him, all the lies they'd told that night that Laya now had to make up for. She knew that Greece had told him the truth but she could only wish that they had been able too but in a way she was grateful. Laya's brown eyes suddenly shot to the handle of the door was gripped by Elliot as he pushed it open.
The room was white and the brightness only annoyed Alessando now; he wanted to be home, in his room with Laya and Elliot. Allegro had told him they were coming to see him today and Alessando couldn't control his excitement. It had been too long since he'd seen them and he just wanted them in his arms again. He wanted to ask them how they'd been doing, take care of them, even though he wasn't fully healed. Alessando thought of how proud he was of both of them and smiled.
Alessando smirked when he saw their shadows outside of his room, they were nervous, he thought to himself. He waited for them to grow the courage to open the door and his wish was granted when they both entered the room. Alessando locked eyes with blue as well as brown ones before he trailed their bodies slowly. They'd grown, he thought quietly.
Laya's straight dark hair was tied in a ballerina bun on the top of her head. Her face, pink and light, with her brown eyes accentuated by a little bit of eye liner; her pink lips pursed as she took him in as well. She wore black jeans with rips and a blue blouse; she looked beautiful and Alessando gulped before turning his attention to Elliot. The man had grown in height and size, Alessando could see he'd been spending time in the gym as his new gains in both his arms and pecs showed it, making his white shirt hug his body snuggly. His blonde hair, shaved on the sides in a fade that left the curls on his forehead rolling down in waves. His jawline with neatly trimmed scruff and his blue eyes, icy and glowing in the light while he had his hands stuffed in his pockets.
Alessando watched as both their gazes ran over him.
"Hi," Laya said softly."Hi," Alessando answered quietly.
"Hey," Elliot nodded quickly.
There was an awkward silence before Alessando attempted to sit up straighter. He grunted roughly,
"Are you okay?" Elliot asked."Fine." Alessando snapped, he hadn't meant for his voice to come out like that and he internally winced at his tone.
There was that silence again and it only angered him again.
