Alessando

Alessando gave Allegro a nod, making sure to avoid the gazes of both Elliot and Laya as he walked into the common area where Malia was still seated. Her foot impatiently tapping on the floor. At the door opening, her eyes flashed to his and she stood up immediately.
"About time, I was wondering how long that meeting would last."
Her footsteps stopped right in front of him as she placed her hand to his chest.
"How have you been Sando?" She asked quietly.

Alessando sighed, "Why'd you leave the safe house?" He inquired.
"I told you why....."
He cut her off, "You're lying to me."
Malia furrowed her brows as Alessando crossed his arms.
"Why would I lie to you?" she mocked him.
He shrugged, "You tell me."

Alessando looked her over, "You snuck out of the house." He paused, "Risked Romani getting ahold of you— for what?"
He heard her sigh, "I wouldn't have had to do that if you'd answered my calls."
Alessando huffed, "You did all that, to see me."
She didn't meet his eyes and Alessando bit his lip, "Why?" He asked.
She looked at him then, "You know why,"

"No I—" she cut him off.
"You know I love you. I have loved you."
Alessando pursed his lips, looking away from her, "Malia, I explained what we were." He shook his head, "I told you what I wanted and you agreed."
Malia frowned, "And what was that? Friends with benefits?"
Alessando gave her a look, "I told you, I didn't want anything serious."

Alessando noticed her clenched fist but ignored it, "You changed your mind." She stated plainly.
Alessando shook his head, "I never did. What are you talking about?"
Malia bit her lip, "That last night we slept together. You told me to meet at our usually rendezvous point. Alessando, you were drunk out of your mind. Blabbering on about Arturo hurting your feelings, not telling you about Dallas. We slept together and then we talked." She paused, "We never did that before, gone into such detail but we did and you told me you wanted something more."

Alessando was shocked, he remembered absolutely nothing about that.
"I.....I— I don't remember."
Malia took a step closer to him, so they were chest to chest, "You won't let yourself feel Alessando, but you wanted more, with me."
"You told me yourself." Malia's voice had turned into a whisper, "So I told Romani about our affair."
Alessando opened and closed his mouth, "You told him!" He all but yelled.

Malia put up her hands to plead her defense, "It was the only way for him to let me go. I wanted to be with you. Don't you see."
"No I don't see, Malia." Alessando ran his fingers through his hair.
"Just let me finish," she pleaded, "I told him I was leaving him and then he started sending you threats but the day I decided to do it— to leave. He hurt me so I wouldn't be able too. It was the same day you attacked his base."

"And I ended up here, with you." She grabbed his hand, holding it to her chest.
"Tell me this isn't destiny. Tell me we aren't meant to be together."
Alessando shook his head, "You put your own life at risk when you told your husband about our affair."
Malia scoffed, "I did it for you. For us. So we could be together!"
Alessando narrowed his eyes, "I never asked you to do that!"

Malia bit her lip, "I understand you Alessando."
"You know I do. All those nights we spent together, how could I not fall in love with you?"
Alessando knew he was charming, but this? This was crazy!
"I, I don't know Malia."
She placed her fingertips underneath his chin to make him look at her, "Tell me you love me."
She was smiling, "Tell me and we can be together."

Alessando suddenly took a step back, "I can't."
Malia just shook her head, "It's okay. I know it's a lot to take in but we have time, we—"
"No...." he said softly, "It's not that Malia."
"I don't love you. I'm sorry."
Her mouth made an 'o' shape before she just chuckled, "Alessando that, that doesn't make sense."
"You..... you told me otherwise. You said you wanted me."

"I'm sorry Malia."
Malia furrowed her eyebrows, "If you don't love me then, then...who?"
Alessando sighed, "Both Laya and Elliot. They hold my heart."
Alessando noticed Laya's eyes widen in recognition, "Those children!" She screeched.
"They took you away from me!"
"Can they even pleasure you Alessando? Do they even know how you like it?"

Alessando swallowed, "You replace me with those children,"
"Why? What do they have that I don't?"
"Everything." He answered honestly.
That answer seemed to anger her more, as she took a few steps back, "Listen Malia, I know this is hard, but Romani is still out there and I can drive you back to the safe house so you'll be...."
"No! Shut up!" She yelled pushing him backwards.
"I don't need you!"

Malia kicked at the table holding a vase that shattered to the floor as she stormed out and Alessando watched as she left.

Alessando had explained everything to Allegro privately shortly after that before Allegro pointedly told him where to find his little angels. They were in the gym and as Alessando walked towards the building he couldn't help the grin that was on his lips, he loved them. He loved them both, equally.
He stood leaning against the metal door frame while both Elliot and Laya threw knives. At his approach, both their heads whipped to face him.

"Done talking to your girlfriend?" Elliot asked.
"Mhmm," Alessando hummed which made Elliot scoff.
"You two ready to eat dinner?"
"Not hungry." Laya said sternly.
Alessando chuckled before going in front of the targets just as Laya threw her knife. The blade heading straight for his head which Alessando managed to catch in the nick of time. He winced as the blade cut through his palm.

"Are you crazy!" Elliot screamed, dropping his blade and running towards him.
"I— I could have killed you," Laya said softly.
Alessando watched as Elliot grabbed his hand to inspect it, "Let's have Dallas look at it."
Alessando looked adoringly at the two people quietly inspecting his injury and he only smiled.
"She's gone." He said quickly.
"Good." Laya said quickly.
"Come on, Dallas should still be at the infirmary."

Alessando was amused at the worry eminent on their faces as Dallas wrapped his hand.
"Does it sting?" Laya asked.
"If it does. You're not showing it." Elliot said pointedly.
"Kisses would help." Alessando shrugged.
Laya smiled while Elliot rolled his eyes before they each kissed him firmly on the lips.
"Better?" Laya asked.
Alessando smirked, "Much."
