Laya

Laya was curled up underneath the dark comforter on their bed. Her head snuggled into the crook of Alessando's neck. She yawned quietly, her dark brown eyes adjusting to the darkness as she lifted her head slowly to see Elliot on the other side, his head on Alessando's shoulder blade and his body curled into him. Unconsciously, she smiled and sat up, her bladder suddenly making itself known. Quietly, she stepped away from the bed and walked over to their en-suite bathroom.

It had been a month since their arrival at the compound and Laya couldn't have been happier. In fact, she'd never been this happy, and she continued to thank her lucky stars for bringing both of these men into her life. Over the course of the few weeks since she'd been there, she'd taken up training almost every day with either Elliot, the girls or most days Alessando who'd taken it upon himself to teach her the ins and outs and tactics of managing a team and figuring out the weaknesses of a building. He'd taught her how to be a successful sniper and while she wasn't perfect she could finally hit a bullseye from at least twenty feet away.

Alessando had also attempted to teach Elliot as well but their boy had grown disinterested, Laya on the other hand was relishing in the new skill. She snuck back into bed and cuddled closer to Alessando who rubbed her side and she smiled, knowing he was awake.
"Good morning," his deep baritone tickling her ear.
"Hi," she mumbled.
"What time is it?" He asked lazily.

"Around six,"
She heard him mumble before Elliot lifted his head on the other side.
"Good morning." She heard him yawn.
Laya replied just as she had before just as Elliot cuddled his head back into Alessando's chest and reached over to grab her hand. She giggled to herself and saw Alessando chuckle.
"El, you know I have to get up now,"

Elliot mumbled, "Yes. That's why I trapped you in here."
Laya smiled before she felt Alessando kiss her forehead and unhook both hers and Elliot's arm so he could go to the shower. She saw Elliot cross his arms and pout before scooting over to where she was. When Alessando exited the bathroom he was wearing his boxers and his exquisite body on show. Laya would have made heart eyes, at the sight of his tattoos and ripped abs. His dark hair curled and wet and flapping all over his forehead, she preferred his hair like that, to the gelled back look he always went for.

"What is it today?" She asked, "A meeting?"
Alessando was buttoning up his shirt when he swiveled around to face them.
He shook his head, "No actually, there are a few people that need straightening out."
Laya saw him grab his guns that he usually kept handy in their room. Laya suddenly grew nervous, "When will you be back?" Elliot spoke up.
"As soon as I can, le mie vite" (my lives)

"Are those the people who've been sending you threats?" She asked.
Alessando had been transparent with them thus far regarding everything in their business and the threats they'd been receiving in the recent weeks. Most, just run of the mill gangs who were all talk no bite while one or two had only just recently popped up on their radar had been a bit more serious.

Alessando nodded, "I'll be back as soon as I can."
Laya would have pouted but she refrained as Alessando approached the bed and kissed them both on the forehead before leaving.
Laya sighed and turned to Elliot who gave her a small smile.
"I miss him already." Elliot chuckled, agreeing.
An hour later, both herself and Elliot were in the kitchen where both Dallas and Greece sat eating breakfast.

Laya took a seat beside Greece, who wasn't in a good mood. Her lips were twisted in a sneer and Laya only giggled knowing the reason for her prissy mood.
"I don't know why Allegro told you I can't have ice cream for breakfast!" She pouted at them.
"Greece, your baby is due any day now, you can't eat ice cream," Elliot joked.
Greece mocked him, imitating his voice before rolling her eyes.

"Well I want my precious to come out so we can eat ice cream together!"
"Do you know the gender?" Laya asked.
Greece shook her head, "I wanted it to be a surprise, but Allegro is sure it's a girl."
Laya gave Dallas a look, "Don't look at me Laya, I'm not going to tell you anything!"
Laya groaned, she'd been waiting to know the gender for so long but Dallas refused to tell her and Greece didn't want to know.

"Fine." She droned out, "Don't tell—"
"Miss Greece!" One of the guards burst through the kitchen doors.
Greece nodded for him to speak, "There's been a problem,"
Laya looked over at Elliot who frowned, "We've lost communication with Capo."
"We think they were ambushed."

Laya bit her lip, "Ben?"
The guard shook his head, "He's been trying to restore the signal nothings happened."
Dallas and Elliot helped Greece to her feet and Laya followed behind as they all made their way into communications room.
"What's the last thing you heard Ben?" Dallas asked.
"Just gunshots." He spoke up looking at them.

Laya took a look at Elliot who was staring bullets into the wires set on the desk that Ben seemed to fiddling around with.
"You're doing it wrong." Everyone seemed to whip their head around to face Elliot who had spoken.
Ben gave him a quizzical look, "What are you talking about kid!" Ben snapped frustrated.
"The wires, the communications down because they aren't correct."

Ben frowned, "I'd like to see you fuckin—"
"Let him try." Greece cut him off to which Ben promptly kept quiet and Laya looked at him smugly.
Elliot began unplugging and replugging wires and talking into the mic.
"See the kid can't even do it."
Laya shot him glare which he rolled his eyes at before she turned her attention back to Elliot who was still focused on his task.

"Hello?" Elliot said quickly.
"Finafuckingly," Alessando's voice came onto the airwaves.
"The connection was cut but it's been restored." Elliot answered smugly.
"El?" Alessando asked over the intercom.
"What are you doing in the communications room?"
"We're all here Sando." Greece spoke up.
"Is everything okay?" She asked.
"Are you hurt!" Laya piped in nervously.

"We're all okay." He said quickly, "The problems being handled as we—"
"Oh fuck!" Alessando swore.
"What!" They chorused quickly.

"Malia is here."
