I woke up the next morning bright and early. The boys had some promotional work to do so everyone was all up and out.
Today was going to be a big day. Louis and I decided not to announce the news to media yet as it may cause chaos; instead if media began to speculate only then would we release a statement. Other than that we'd announce it closer to the time. One Direction is a bunch of very private people who enjoy their privacy which is respected from both parties.
"I'm off to work." I called.
"Bye!" Various voices spoke.
I did something sneaky. I blew up the picture I had put it in the staff room and wrote under it ‘Who’s our Mummy?’ Clever me!
11AM. I called a meeting.
"I just want to run over a few changes I've made as well as new schedules.” I said.
“Who’s the mummy then?” Adam asked.
“Mummy?” I acted. “Oh yes, I saw that. We’ll go onto that at the end.”
12:15 WOAH time is flying by.
"Any ideas who people think the Mummy is?” I said. “That sounds funny; like something Egyptian!”
There was silence.
“Wait a minute, it’s you isn’t it? You’re pregnant." Tori asked.
"Indeed. Twins." I smiled.
"Congratulations!"
"Thank you!"
“Never have guessed!” Hugo laughed. “Nevertheless congratulations!”
“Who did you think it was?”
“I thought it was Ella again!”
“I’m just engaged hunny, no more babies!”
“Since when?”
“Surprise!”
“Double celebration!” Melanie smiled.
Everyone congratulated Ella and me and whatnot. That's my work done. I left the office around 2:45PM after a quick lunch break.
Now to meet the boys. I arranged to meet them at 'Shimmers'. 'Shimmers' was a river bank by Mason's house. It was such a beautiful place with a bar on the side. I also had a surprise in how I was to tell them.
I peeped from the bush and watched as the waiter ordered the drinks. As he came back with the drinks he brought a yellow balloon along with him. Let the fun begin.
"Why is there a balloon?" Mason asked.
"Hey look, there's a message." Chad said.
"What does it say?"
“‘pop the balloon to unveil the message'."
"What are we meant to pop a balloon with?!" Mason questioned looking around.
"My earring."
"You pop it."
"Why me?"
"I'm scared."
Chad popped the balloon and out fell a message, "'The person in front of you is having twins'.
If by magic I popped up in front of them.
