There was this look in his eyes
and a slight smirk as he looked up at me
giving him the math problem I explained
one plus one equals two not three
Although he was old enough to understand
I knew he was merely teasing
I'm not much older
but I'd like to hear him wheezing
Clearing my thoughts and sitting down
after we all had a good laugh
it's only a joke he's not serious
I tell myself, earning the sight of a staff
Am I seeing this right?
he's not looking my way
but it's quite obvious
that he cannot keep his emotions at bay
Standing back up again
and gently brushing off my ass
he saw and I gave him a note saying,
"See me after class."
