CHAPTER 05

We started at each other for a long time. My brown eyes were locked on his. Both of our faces were solemn. This staring competition kept going for about six minutes. Neither of us said anything, the room was silent. My eyes flickered down to his chest and I melted on the inside. He still had a scalding body. Once Seth realized I was staring at his abs, a smirk appeared on his face.

He grabbed my arm and pulled me towards him, making me stumble and crash into his chest. A laugh vibrated through his chest and I felt a blush grow on my cheeks. "Don't be so clumsy, tiger. It's just me."

I pushed myself away from his body and leaned against the bathtub. My breathing was getting heavier and it felt hot to be around Seth. He noticed this and took a few steps closer, "Are you okay? Do you need CPR?"

"No, I'm fine, I just need some air." Seth immediately opened the door for me and lead me up to the deck. Calvin wasn't there. He was probably down in his cabin, watching TV or texting his friends. I walked to the edge of the yacht and looked at the ocean crashing against it. I felt more relaxed immediately.

My body tensed when I felt Seth placing his hands on my hips. I felt shivers running through my body when his hands made contact with my bare skin. I closed my eyes and enjoyed the closeness of his body.

"Look at how beautiful this is," Seth whispered in my ear. "Almost as beautiful as you."

"Still as cheeky as before," I commented.

"Always, babe." He made me turn around and placed his hands on the railing, caging me in. Our faces were only a few inches apart. My breath hitched in my throat. My mouth instantly felt parched. I wanted to kiss Seth again.

No, I needed to kiss him.

I knew if I kissed him it would be a perilous move. I couldn't hold myself back any longer. No matter how many times I told myself I was over him, I wasn't over him. Seth was my first love and it's not easy to move on. A part of him will stay in my heart forever and inadvertently my brain will start thinking about him.

I saw Seth's eyes flickering down to my lips. This was a clear sign that he wanted this as much as I did. We just needed the perfect moment and this wasn't it. This was lust. I didn't want our kiss to be just out of lust. I want it to be romantic, yet hot.

I slowly turned around and faced the sea again. My  heart was beating like crazy in my chest. I couldn't think anymore, all of my thoughts were clogged up. I felt Seth's fingers moving to my wrists and he slowly took them.

"Do you trust me?" He whispered. I nodded my head, afraid that if I opened my mouth, no sound would come out. He lifted my arms to the side and placed his hands back onto my waist. The wind hit my face, making shivers run though my body.

"This is like the Titanic," He said. "But I hope neither of us die." He placed a small kiss on the side of my face and took a few steps back. I let my hands down and faced him. Seth had that cheeky grin on his face, the one that made me want to pinch his cheeks. He was just that adorable.

"Let's see what Calvin is doing," I suggested. Seth nodded his head and we walked down. We heard footsteps from the kitchen part so we walked there. Calvin was running back and forth, attempting to make a fancy dish for us. By the smell I could say it was Pasta Carbonara.

Calvin served our food, sprinkled some parmesan cheese on top and added a cherry tomato. "Voila, your romantic dinner slash lunch is ready." He held his hands up like chef's do. Seth and I started eating while Calvin looked at us with his eyes wide. He was waiting for a compliment.

"This is amazing."

"Yeah, dude, great food," Seth mumbled while shoving another forkful in his mouth. Calvin did a little happy dance and left us alone again.

Silence fell across the room.

We finished eating in silence and Seth led me back to the bedroom. He made me sit down on the bed while he went through some drawers and took out a small velvet box. It resembled a ring box a lot. He wasn't going to ask me to marry him, right?

"Ellie," Seth started. He turned over to me and smiled. "You know, the times we spent together were the greatest. Heck, you were my first love and I still can't stop thinking about you. I still love you so much, it's unfair. And I know you love Xavier with all of your heart so I need to do this to get over you somehow."

He kneeled down on one leg and held the small box in front of him. He looked down at the ground for a few seconds and then lifted his gaze again. He took a deep breath and looked me straight in the eyes.

"Will you please take this cherry chapstick back so I can forget about you?" He opened the small box and I noticed the small tube in it. It was the first chapstick he took from me, the one he used before kissing me.

I looked at Seth and noticed his eyes sparkled, showing me he was about to cry. He sniffled and wiped away a small tear, which has escaped from his eyes. I took a few steps closer to him and took the chapstick from the small box. I opened it and applied it to my lips.

Seth raised his eyebrow at me and stared at me like I had gone crazy. Out of nowhere, I grabbed his face and pressed my lips against his. I felt him stiffening but seconds later, he relaxed and snaked his arms around my waist. He pulled me onto his lap and kissed me ravenously. I moved my hands up to his hair, tugging lightly. That make Seth groan a little bit.

Moments later, we pulled apart, both of us breathing heavily. Both of our lips were red and swollen. We stared at each other for a long time until Seth pulled me in for another kiss. We kept repeating the same process for about 20 minutes until we couldn't kiss anymore. All of our energy was gone.

"You have a boyfriend, Ellie," He murmured. "I don't want you to cheat on him."

"He's cheating on my anyway," I quietly whispered. "It doesn't matter anymore, I want to break up with him once we get back."

"I'll be right here if you need me, tiger," Seth pulled me into his embrace. "Nothing will tear us apart this time. It's just you and me forever, baby."

The ride back seemed way shorter.

Calvin, Seth and I were sunbathing for most of the time. The weather was extremely nice. The closer we got to the shore, the more nervous I grew. My heart was hammering in my chest like crazy. I found it even difficult to breathe. Luckily Seth kept assuring me everything is going to be okay.

Once we arrived back at my apartment, Seth and Calvin decided it would be a better idea if they came with me just in case. I still didn't know if Xavier got angry when girls break up with him or not. Actually, I didn't know almost anything about his bad side. He always looked like everything was okay with him, and no one had to be scared of him.

I opened the apartment door and it was silent once again. This time I noticed a pair of white heels right next to the door and everyone knew I didn't wear heels. Either Xavier was planning to give them to me, which I highly doubt, or there was a girl here right now.

The more we entered the apartment, the more I started hearing moans coming from the bedroom. I gripped Seth's arm and looked at him, "I can't do this. I can't look at him while he's in bed with another girl. It's too much for me."

"Let's go in at the same time, I want to see what the slut looks like that he chose to replace you." Seth growled. Calvin just nodded his head. I grabbed his hand as well and we walked to my bedroom door. I slowly pushed it open and there I was Xavier's naked back.

He jumped away from the girl underneath him and I was greeted with a familiar doll-like face and straight blonde hair. The piercing blue eyes stared at me. She even had the audacity to smirk at me, like she has won a lottery.

"Melanie?" I stuttered, feeling like I was about to collapse.

"Surprise, bitch." She grinned, pulling the cover onto her body.
