Sang

I've been living with the guys for two weeks now, and I realized that they are running. They've got jobs to do and people to see. I found out that Victor, Gabe, and Silas were going to school with me, something about my protection. When I asked Kevin about it, he told me that I should probably have a long talk with my dad when he came home for Thanksgiving. I found it strange but just went with it. If the guys wanted to take care of me, who was I to complain.

I was getting ready to meet the guys in the parking lot to go shopping. Apparently Gabe was a shopaholic and wanted to get me a whole new wardrobe. I wasn't a fan of shopping but I wanted these guys to be my friends since they meant so much to Kevin. Besides, I really liked all of them. I found out that North, Brandon and I share a love of cars and bikes. Kevin taught me the basics growing up when I turned sixteen and I fell in love, learned everything that I could. While North helps me cook dinner every night, Luke helps me bake and the things he comes up with are so delicious. We've bonded over desserts and chocolate, much to North's dismay. Marc is in there most of the time with us. He's got me loving coffee with the way he makes it and each morning he has something new for me to try. I don't think I'll ever be able to live without his coffee in my life.

Kota and I discuss books and my classes and he never seems to be bored with any of it. I love that I finally have someone around that knows what I am talking about. Victor and Corey are beyond amazing with their computer skills and have been teaching me more than what I already knew.

Sean is a doctor. A very young doctor and I've gotten to go with him to the hospital a couple times to help out and see the babies. That's his favorite part about work and I can't say that I blame him. Those tiny little humans are way too adorable.

Silas and Axel took me to the aquarium once and showed me their love of all the marine life. Axel even works there and invited me back any time I wanted to go! It was awesome. These guys sure were keeping me busy and with everything I had been doing, I didn't have time to worry about Mindy or Derrick. I was sure loving life at the moment, experiencing all of these new things in just the couple weeks that I knew them.

Raven, The big Russian, took me shotting and I think I impressed him by how well I did. I didn't think he was expecting me to shoot the target on our first time there. I told him it was luck with a smile but in truth, Kevin takes me to the range a lot. He wanted me to have all kinds of skills and to make sure I knew how to take care of myself. After everything that happened with the wicked step sister and even more wicked step mother, he wanted me to be able to defend myself if I was ever put in that kind of situation again. I was happy that he did, especially when I saw the proud look on Raven's face the whole time we were there. I wanted to make all the guys proud.

Nathan took me to his self defense class last week and I loved watching him in action. I think I was watching how he used his good looking muscles more than I loved watching him beat the crap out of some guy. I even had to wipe my mouth away just in case there was some drool. Didn't need to embarrass myself. I got to work with a couple girls and luckily I was able to hold my own and Nathan took me home and told all the guys how well I did. Kevin winked at me knowing I haven't told the guys much about myself.

Gabe, Gabriel Coleman is very eccentric and the first time I hear his colorful language, I couldn't help but laugh while the guys scolded him about using foul language in front of me. He went off on a rant and pulled me to the bathroom where he then did my hair making it look healthier than it ever had and softer. I instantly loved it. After he went through my closet without my knowledge he told me we were going shopping and that I had no say in the matter. It was why we were going after school. Since Kevin asked me to quit my job for the time being, I did as he asked without question. I knew he had a good reason and I wasn't going to complain. I didn't like working at that cafe anyway. Everyone was always so rude.

Owen was a hard one to crack. He always seemed so serious and I made it my mission to make him smile at least once a day. So far it's been slow going and I only get these millimeter smiles that make his already perfect face, more perfect. I wanted a full smile though, one where he showed teeth and everything. I was determined to get it and I wasn't going to stop my crazy antics until he did. Just last night, It was just us and I decided to turn on some Taylor Swift and dragged him into the middle of the living room and made him dance with me. I almost had that full smile then until Axel and Raven came home. They looked at owen curiously and he ended up leaving. I was almost there, just a little longer.

As I was thinking about the guys, I ran into someone, knocking my bag to the ground. Some things fell out and I bent down to grab it all.

"He Pretty girl." The voice instantly had my defenses up and I was ready to bolt if need be.

"Hey Rocky." I gave a tight smile and thanked him for helping me pick up my things. I was getting ready to walk away and meet the guys when he grabbed my arm and brought me into his chest.

"What's the hurry? I thought you and I could get better acquainted." He smiled down at me.

Rocky was a good looking guy, tall, lean build with brown hair that was messily styled and brown eyes. His teeth were straight and he seemed to always be smiling. I knew that he wasn't a good guy. Not only was he mean to some go the people in the classes that we shared but he hung around Jade and she was straight up evil. If I didn't know any better I would say that she was spawned by my stepmother. I knew that wasn't the case though.

"Rocky, I'm already late. I am supposed to be meeting up with some friends." I told him, trying to get out of his hold without hurting either of us.

"Those guys you've been hanging around with? I thought we talked about this. You are my girl Sang and I don't like seeing you with other guys."

Trying not to roll my eyes, I finally got out of his hold.

"We are not together Rocky. I'm not your girl. Besides I thought you were with Jade."

"Jade and I are just friends." Rocky huffed.

"Just like you and I." I wasn't really his friend. I never wanted to be his friend but I knew this was the only thing to say to get him to let me leave without following.

He was getting ready to say something else when someone threw me into the brick building we were standing by. I hit my head and became a little dizzy but mostly, I was just angry. Why did people have to be so rude?

"I thought I told you to stay away from Rocky." Jade growled in my face.

"Get off of me." I pushed her back. "He was just helping me pick up my things."

"This is your last warning bitch." Jade tried growling in my face but I pushed her back again. "Stay away or things will be a lot worse for you."

Just as Jade pulled Rocky behind her and took off, I saw the guys running my way and they did not look happy. Maybe I can get away with putting something else on their mind.

If only it were that easy.

*** I am so sorry I have been gone for so long. Things are crazy for me right now but I hope you will enjoy the next few chapter I have for you. I will try to keep up but my job is crazy demanding at the moment and with two little ones that demand my attention when I'm home, I don't get a lot of down time these days. To each and every one of you that have stuck around, you are amazing. I've ready every comment that you have put and I love all of you. Hopefully I can start being the writer that you deserve.

This is unedited but I wanted to give you something since it has been so very long. I promise I'm not giving up on these stories, life is just getting busier for me. between work, a four year old daughter, a two year old son, gymnastics, soccer, learning time, laundry, cleaning house, and everything in between it's been crazy.

Again... I love you all for sticking with me, reading my work and all of the wonderful things you have to say. I finished my original novel but not in time for the contest. It's not completely edited but let me know if you guys would be interested in reading it and I will put it on here. I could always use the feedback since my family is kind of biased.

lots of love to you all and thank you, thank you, thank you for sticking with me.
