Owen~

Well that just made things a lot easier for this conversation. Hopefully she took it well because she didnt seem like the type of person to go everywhere with a babysitter for a foreseeable amount of time, if any time at all. I knew she was going to fight us every step of the way.

"Tell us what you think you know Bumble Bee." John asked her.

Sang shrugged. "The Academy is an organization that helps people. They do the jobs that the law enforcement and government agencies can't do because the Academy can tip toe around the laws to get information that the other organizations can't. The Academy is about family. You have rules and while I dont know all of them I know that the academy is all about family and the first rule is trust your family and family first." She paused and even though it wasnt much i was impressed with what she knew.

"You all are made up of teams which are your chosen family. You four" she pointed to her dads and uncles. "Are a chosen family and I'm pretty sure my mom was included in that. The Toma team is Axel, Marc, Corey, Brandon, Raven and Kevin. The Blackbourne team is Owen, Kota, Sean, North, Victor, Silas, Nate, Gabe, and Luke. Daddy and his team are doing some top secret assignment with the president that they've been talking about since before mom died. And These two teams have been put together to take down some kind of drug ring. Mindy never wanted me to know about anything because she didnt think I could handle it but I've known all along."

"Well fuck Trouble. We aren't very good at keeping secrets apparently." Gabe stated making a lot of the boys nod.

"I'm very impressed Bumble Bee." Steven grinned making Sang smile in return.

"We should have had her join a long time ago." Jarrod, I think. Mentioned.

"No thank you." Sang cuts in. "I'm not ready to join yet. Besides, if I joined then I'll be the new hot commodity and I'm not ready for that. Let's get me through college first."

"What do you mean you'll be the hot new commodity?"  Kevin asks while I look at her family. They dont look too good, like they're keeping secrets that Sang is about to call them out on.

"I dont exist." She says like it's just a normal conversation topic. "I mean I do but daddy said in the eyes of the government I dont and from what I heard of them talking, I'd be like really rare, like the only one around." She shrugs.

Umm....WHAT??? How is it possible that Kevin kept this from us? I look at him accusingly as do the rest of the guys.

"Hold the fucking phone!" Marc and Gabe burst out at the same time causing Sang to giggle.

"Why didn't you tell us?" Sean asks seeming a little hurt.

"I didnt know." He answers quietly.

"We didnt tell him. When it came to Sang, we took care of school and her driver's license. We took care of all the paperwork that needed to be taken care of and erased it when we got everything when we needed too. The only people that know are Phil and us."

"But why?" Kota asked while fiddling with his glasses.

"We didn't have a great childhood." One of the twins started. "Elizabeth had it the worst. To make matters worse, our father was a higher up in the FBI. We ran away as teenagers taking John and Steven with us since they were living in a foster home. Elizabeth loved them and couldn't leave them behind."

"Anyway." The other twin took up where the other left off. "We knew are dad was keeping tabs on us and when Lizzy got pregnant, we decided to have a home birth. I was a medical student so I helped her with it and we kept everything under the radar. We knew if our father found out, Sang would be taken from us by him and living the life we ran away from. It was the only way."
