Dianne's POV
"You are going to away, I'm staying here." Anthony shouts at me, holding me by the collar, tears streaming down my eyes. "We are over Dianne, and you're leaving." He said, me nodding and sadness overcoming me. He then left without saying a word, leaving me stood at duty free with my suitcase packed but no intentions of leaving. How could he do this? I thought he loved me, wait who am I kidding? He was threatening towards me, he would sometimes even hit me and emotionally blackmail me, I guess I was just clueless. I was blinded by the image I had of him when we first met, but I guess that's over now. The worst part is that I really don't want to go, but he's going to hurt me if I stay. I don't know what he might do, he could hunt me down, come to my house, do anything.I stood there trembling, tears pouring and breathing heavily, panic filling my presence. It was incredibly busy, but not one staff member was unoccupied, which meant I would have to go and tell someone everything, everything. What if they used it against me?
I wandered around for a bit, trying to find someone who looked friendly enough. There were loads of people but no one seemed amicable, too focused on their act and I would hate to intrude.
"Are you Alright?"
"Are you Alright?" a voice called out, where had this voice came from? "I'm here." He chuckled, he obviously saw me looking around. I looked down to see a boy sat on the chairs along from where I was stood, he probably thought I looked a right mess. He was in black jeans, black hoodie and a leather jacket and black cap, a bit chill and a bit rock and a roll. I took a deep breath, taking the few shaky steps towards him, I knew I had to tell him my situation, it could be my only chance at getting help. I was stood up in front of him, suitcase in hand, him looking up at me, trying to figure out what exactly was wrong.
"There's a man, we were together...and now he's making me lea...leave the country, and I really don't want to go...but if I stay, I don't know what he's going to do." I stuttered, sobbing at the end, I felt a weight being lifted off my shoulders, now I had gotten it out of my system. However, a new weight collapsed onto me, a stranger knowing my weakness, it could be used against me. As soon as the last part left my mouth he stood up, he was slightly taller than me and had...stop it Di. "Oh my god, right." He started, thinking for second. "Do you want to maybe freshen up first, then we could talk after?" He asked, noticing my tear stained face, puffy eyes and just messy state. "Y...yes." I said, him nodding. "Let me take this, I'll be here when you get back." He said, me nodding but a small doubt filling my mind. "Ok, I won't be a moment."
In the bathroom, I contemplated what was happening. I had no choice but to leave the country and I had left my luggage with a stranger who seemed nice but given my past, I didn't know what was going to happen. I freshened up and went back into duty free where I spotted him, a calmer Dianne heading towards the boy who held my luggage in his hand. "When's your flight? Shouldn't you be getting going?" I asked, him chuckling and shaking his head. "Don't worry, I've got ages. Please, sit down."
We sat down on two chairs, opposite one another. "So first, have you tried to call the police, you do realise he's basically deporting you." He said, that really was an eye opener. I shook my head. "No, because if I did, he threatened to hurt me, badly." I admitted, his eyes wide. "Right, but he can't hurt you from jail, can he?" He asked, me nodding slowly. "He has connections, lots of them." "I'm sorry for being intrusive, but how long were you with him?" He asked, me shrugging. "A few months, I just felt trapped I guess." I said, head in my hands. He took them and peeled them from my face, taking them in his. "To be honest, you were in a way, but not anymore. And just because you can't call the police doesn't mean I can't." He said, me nodding and looking into his eyes. He was looking into mine but that was soon interrupted by his phone buzzing, him grabbing it instantly, almost as if it shocked him.
Tom's POV
Me and Joe were meant to be heading to Ireland for a wedding, and I couldn't find him anywhere! I was currently in WHSmith putting his books over other people's, I do it at every airport. What can I say, he was my best mate and I'd do anything for him. He was meant to meet me here five minutes ago, where on Earth was that boy? I seriously cannot take him anywhere. He was like a child, weather it be spilling beer down his t shirt or getting lost, I still loved him to bits though. I gave his phone a ring."Joseph Sugg, where are you mate?" I asked with a slight laugh, it was followed by a short silence. "Umm...just got lost, I won't be a minute." He said, he was lying, I could tell. "Oh alright, meet me at WHSmith, and don't go talking to any girls." I laughed. "Right, see you in a bit, bye." "Goodbye Joseph." I put the phone down, what was I going to do with him?
Joe's POV
I put the phone down, the girl stood patiently. "Sorry about that, my friend, he's in WHSmith but that doesn't matter, I'm going to call the police, it won't take long." I explained, her nodding. I couldn't believe I was doing this. I quickly dialled the number. "Hi, id like to report an incident." I started, the girl breathing heavily, it must be hard for her. What's the issue sir. "A girl has just came to me because her partner is trying to deport her, she hasn't called herself as she is under threat of abuse." I explained, her finding it hard to hear aloud, I take her hand and squeeze it gently for support, her relaxing more. Where are you? After the details had been sorted, I could finally put the phone down, I sighed with relief, I was relieved that she didn't have to be under that kind of pressure anymore. "Thank you." she said, a happy tear in her left eye. "It's no problem, come here." I said, offering my arms out which she took.
Dianne's POV
When he held me, I felt safe...protected, like no harm could come to me. His arms were wrapped around my waist, mine placed on his chest, I felt so at ease and was vulnerable yet on top of the world at the same time. "It will all be alright, they're on their way and he will be gone for good." He said, me looking up at him, he was....no no no. "Joseph Sugg, I thought I told you to not go talking to any girls?"Tom's POV
What did I tell him? I walked out of duty free and scanned the room for Joe, but I couldn't find him. That was until I saw him holding a red headed girl in his arms, wow. He didn't see me coming as he was too busy looking down at her, bless him, well he was in for a shock. "Joseph Sugg, I thought I told you to not go talking to any girls?" I asked, crossing my arms and smirking, him flinching in shock and unwrapping his arms but keeping his hands on her hips. "It's not what you think, at all." He said, me raising my eyebrows. "You can tell him." she said, looking at him in a way that I don't think anyone has looked at me before. "Her partner is deporting her, We've just called the police, they're on their way now." Joe said, I could see him gently stroking her side reassuring her, but that wasn't what I was expecting. "Oh wow, I'm so sorry. I'm Tom, and that must be hard on you." I said, shaking her hand. "It's alright, it's just a lot for seven am." she said which made us both laugh. "Alright, I'm going to go and get us some waters." I said, Joe furrowing his eyebrows. "Why didn't you get them in WHSmith?" "Because I was too busy worrying about you!" I said, him rolling his eyes to the back of his head. "Sorry dad." He says, making her giggle. "It's ok, seeing as you've been good you can have some sweeties." I tease, him giving me the middle finger, me bursting out laughing and walking away. "You are dead to me Joseph!" I shouted, leaving them be. That was interesting.
