| Chapter 15 |

I tried to run upstairs but unlucky for me I tripped and fell and I hurt my ankle , I yelled and screamed as they paced towards me simultaneously and kept saying

Its not over yet, Rain!

They then took a baseball bat and knocked it on my head! I kept yelling till I fell and....

"Rain! For God sake we are in the middle of the night , stop screaming" Valarie said

"I'm sorry I must have been a nightmare" I said as we both went back to bed

As I rouse from a heavy slumber I am first aware of the coolness of the air and it's loamy fragrance. The ground is lumpy as if I were on a bed of earth and rocks.

My clothes feel as damp as a flower in the dew of the dawn. I half wonder if I'm still dreaming as I sat up to take in the shafts of light that burst through the gaps in the leaf canopy above.

Now I'm awake, perhaps more fully awake than I've ever been. There are no paths around me and no sign of another person. As far as I can tell I am alone with the birds who make their carefree song around me, and in that sweet melody I feel more alone.

This bizarre nightmare is mine alone. It's worse though than it first appears, usually after this point in waking I know who I am, and I don't. I can't think of a name that belongs to me or a single person I know. Any face my subconscious offers has as much resonance as a total stranger. I stretched and moved my hips severally

I perceived the delightful aroma of fresh pancakes in the morning. I tip toed downstairs to peep on who was cooking.

"Nice robe you got there Harry" I said waiting for a response "Harry! Harry!! Harry!!!" I said as I kept hitting his shoulders for a response

Then he turned to me and It appeared to be Chadwick in the robe holding a knife and kept saying Its not over yet , Rain!, I yelled and screamed for help.

"Rain! What's going on" Harry said

"Oh! I must have been hallucinating" I said , gasping heavy putting my hand on my shoulders and leaning against the wall

"Rain is everything okay" Harry asked

"Yes everything is fine " I said

"You know you are free to tell me anything" Harry said and I nodded back at him .

We a had our baths and ate breakfast and we headed to the mall to buy some new cloths and house supplies .

Suddenly everywhere grew dark before my eyes and everybody in mall turned and looked at me each holding an object for killing , they kept repeating the same words as they walked towards me.

"Rain! What's wrong with you" Valarie asked " You've been acting strange since last night , tell me , what's the matter? "She asked again

I kept hearing a saying that said " Don't tell anyone or else..."

"Hello!! Earth to Rain!" Valarie said "come on Rain ! What's the matter!? "

I didn't let the saying inside of me pave way for fear, I chose to stand my ground and face the challenge

"I've been having strange hallucinations and nightmare , I see Chadwick and aunt Malison holding object and trying to kill me with them" I said

My eyesight blurred, everything became fuzzy; then I saw nothing at all. My consciousness was floating through an empty space filled with a thick static.

Throughout the inky space my heartbeats pounded loudly, echoing in my ears, alongside fading pleas for help,feeling in my body drained away until finally all was black.

I saw my aunt and Chadwick walking towards me , I tried to run but I was trapped in some sort of transparent glass wall.

"You broke our promise! You'll pay! You'll acclimatize ! "

I fell on my knees with my hand clamped over my head tightly

"Nooooo! Leave me alone! Get out of my head" I said

In a flash Chadwick brought out a gun and aimed towards my forehead
